clean room, friendly staff, fabulous ac, convenient to eateries

The hot water in the shower was not working properly. The hotel is only two years old, so that was very disappointing.
-
My bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile or barely cleaned at all. I couldn’t use it and was disappointed based on the the reviews i read

The Hotel was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had some problems with our first room and they made it right. I would like to give a shout out to the young man who was so kind and helpful Romel. This will be our new place to stay.
-
Room was dirty. Towels were dirty. Shower was dirty. The wait staff in the downstairs restaurant were inattentive and terrible. Place smelled like weed.

Staff was nice… room was great! Only issue we had was we lost power while using the blow dryer but they got the power back on within 5 mins

Negative comments. Street parking was impossible even to check in. I parked across the street in a parking lot and for 30min check in, the cost was $18.00 The front door stays locked. I could not figure out how to get in so I walked around the corner to the valet area and ask the valet attendant. He opened the door and let me in without telling me I was fixing to fall down due to a step about 6 ft from the door. It has nothing to warn you. The floor is all brown so you won't see the step until it's too late. Once I got passed that there is a set of around 8 steps to go down to the lobby. Why have valet parking on the side that requires you to walk around the hotel to try and get in the front door if you are disabled? By the way valet parking is a steep $55.00 per 24 hrs. The hotel is pet friendly but outside our rooms door, there was a large yellow urine stain on the carpet. The inside the room was very nice but it had limited lighting. One by the bed, one by the desk. TV had a small number of cable channels. There is a small refrigerator and safe in the room. We agreed that we would stay there again unless we found something similar and closer to Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Room was located directly above a dumpster that was emptied, loudly, at 3;50AM every morning. Road outside was blocked by sheriff deputies unloading a bus full of convicts awaiting sentencing for 10 minutes every morning at 745. Breakfast was good but expensive. Shower door would not stay closed. Bluetooth bathroom mirror desperately wanted to connect to my phone every time the bathroom light was turned on.

Nice new hotel and room, short walk to Mercedes Stadium and restaurants. Front desk and valet parking staff nice and helpful, got us checked in early. However, stood in shower for 10 minutes but there was never any even warm water so I was forced to take a cold shower. Went downstairs for breakfast and the place was clearly understaffed. Lone waiter told us to sit wherever we wanted but we didn’t see him again for 25 minutes; he later brought our drinks and after awhile the bartender apologized to us and others and said our food would be ready in about 20 minutes. Five people who seated themselves long after us were served first, then my son received his biscuits and gravy while I still sat there. The bartender came back by and asked about my missing food, then she spoke to the waiter, who argued with her that I’d already been served and finished, which she said was incorrect. She quickly returned with my meal, which obviously had been sitting somewhere nearby. The waiter never returned to our table or apologized, but the bartender came with our check and didn’t charge for my eggs and sausage.

The restroom in our hotel was cracked open. The slider did not fully close for privacy. In other words, I couldn't handle my business without my kids peeping thru the cracks and laughing. Aside from this, the room was great! Extremely comfy bed and very quiet area. Thank you again!

This hotel was clean and modern with a boutique flair! The staff was kind and helpful and I felt safe with key and doorbell required for entrance!
-
This is an older, downtown building retrofitted to house a hotel. Nice place but hearing the conversations at regular volume of the neighboring room wasn't ideal. Restaurant and bar closed early every night

Good

The property was extremely well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. If I had any observation, it would be that there is zero storage in the room. There is no closet and there’s no furniture to accommodate folded garments. We ended up staying in a small room. I’m not sure if the suites are different than our Single room was. Location was excellent and accessible to the events we wanted to attend.

Have to be honest not in the best area but was located close to what I traveled for . Lots of noise from outside people all night and cars racing around. Staff was friendly could not get my car valet the first day because they only had one guy so I had to park across the street in a unstaffed parking at a charge cheaper then the hotel lot. Also the elevator was broken off and on . Inspection on it was outdated as I noticed because maintenance is what I do for work. No fault to the hotel staff on that matter. Rooms also very small and can hear everything. Upside close to the church event that I attended. Also the restaurant and staff there were absolutely amazing went above and beyond when I ordered late. Needles to say checked out a day early and back on the road . I’ve stayed at the redrocks and kcmo location and was always very impressed with them .

Staff was amazing. Valet parking overnight $55 never again. No complimentary breaks no microwave in room. Charge to check in a little early when rooms are available.
