Econo Lodge Metro

Great location if visiting Washington. The metro is a short 9 minute walk along a bike/running path. Plenty of parking and the room was quiet at night.

Free parking good

Somehow ended up in a wheelchair accessible room as close to the lobby as possible. This meant NOISE NOISE NOISE. And the fiberglass tub felt like it was going to crack and break every time I moved. Room was clean, but AC made it smell dank.

Although it was non refundable and booking was itself done after checking time already started but the request to consider the refund due to the sudden problem was not taken up by the hotel. It shoukd have been waived off on courtesy.

Great stay and great price for this area. Free parking and free coffee all day was definitely a plus. We will be back!

Great location! Super helpful staff and a very convenient set-up. Breakfast and coffee provided as well. Walking distance to the WO&D trail and the Metro as well.

Mediocre hotel. Pretty clean, but thats the only good thing I can really say. Very irritated by the shower situation. The shower curtain is situated such that it’s impossible to shower without it touching you..the shower rod is mounted on the inside of the shower!

Convenient location

Not only the room but the whole hotel is very clean. It is quiet, close to everything, has free parking and the staff was amazing. I got to the hotel before check in and went in to let them know I would be in my car because I didn’t really know where else to go. The nice lady at the front desk checked with housekeeping and actually gave me my room early. The room is very modern looking and comfortable and it had a smart tv so I could watch tubi and blackout curtains. Some people may not get excited about that but very few hotels have them. I am a night owl so I very much appreciate them. The chair in the room was cozy so it was nice to sit in and watch tv. The tub was deep so great for a good soak and the water pressure was awesome. There was no microwave and the bed was a little firmer than I like but it definitely wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. The only noise I heard during the day was a vacuum. Hands down an amazing experience. This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I felt more like I was staying at a home away from home versus a hotel. Do not let the great price fool you into thinking it’s not as good as other.s, it’s better!!

This hotel offers a great location, especially for first-time visitors to Washington, DC. It’s conveniently located near a train station, making it easy to get to the city’s main historic attractions without having to drive. I also really appreciated the free parking, which was a great added convenience. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient choice for exploring the city.

The price, location was good, it’s about a 7 min walk to the metro station. It was a safe and secure area. The breakfast could do with improvement, there wasn’t really a breakfast room, it was just cereal and bagels set up in the reception area. It was fine considering I wasn’t expecting breakfast anyway. They do have 24hr coffee station which worked for me.
