Really like the simplicity and well thought out accommodation. Everything one needs without being fussy. I have used this hotel many times for fam and always reliable. A bonus is the location many great restaurants in Alameda including our fav right across the street, East Ocean ( think Dim Sum)

Nice clean property centrally located for the event I was there for. Breakfast provided was satisfactory and convenient. Didn't really use any of the amenities.

Centrally located, clean, friendly staff, well stocked vending machines,smoking area, close ice machines Sitting in the jacuzzi made my eyes burn. The pillows were too big, wouldn’t flatten out. Maybe offer a couple of different firmness of pillows

It’s located so that you can walk to restaurants and drive over to the ferry terminal and ride to SF.

There's nothing to rave about this hotel. We chose this hotel for its safety. Most hotels in Oakland and Emeryville were deemed unsafe due to break-ins. The pluses are many good restaurants all around. The parking is free. During check in, the desk clerk failed to inform us housekeeping service only upon request. We had lots of things to dispose on the first day. We were surprised there were no housekeeping service the next day.

So wonderful to have a properly "okay" Hotel on the island, even tho it doesn't have a proper pool. Coral Reef Motel is nasty with dirty carpets you can't even take off your shoes in the room. Rodeway Inn is trash conceptualized. Hawthorn Suites provided where others failed!

Thick, hard, uncomfortable pillows. Many hotels have several sizes or types of pillows. These were all the same and very uncomfortable. Constant marijuana smell in the halls and occasionally it came into our room we assume from a neighboring room.
