Having a microwave would have make it perfect but unfortunately there wasn't any.

We stayed at both Canyon Village and Grant Village. Canyon lodge felt a little newer, but technology didn’t work. Grant building older, but WiFi worked. Canyon has a few more dining options, but I really liked the ease of the Mexican taco bar at the Lakehouse at Grant.

This place is dated, uncomfortable, not as advertised, not ADA compliant, and has little to no amenities. The pictures make it look like a nice lodge similar to other areas in th park, but it is far from it. The dining room and other things shown in the pictures are in completely different buildings and not easily accessible. The lodges are all separate buildings with no elevators and not connected to the restaurants, registration, or anything else. The lake is not visible at all from most of the lodge buildings. It was half a mile walk to get to the dining room from my lodge and I was in one of the closer buildings! The walls were so thin that I could hear the toilets flushing in other rooms, plus every noise above me. The showers were so small that an adult cannot comfortably stand in, and the beds were uncomfortable with weird little frumpy pillows. Plus, there are no tvs, WiFi or elevators. The coffee pot (one of the only amenities provided) didn't work. I slept very little here and was extremely disappointed based on what was advertised and for the price paid. For the lack of amenities and comfort, I would have been better off camping or paying just slightly more for some of the much nicer locations. I definitely do NOT recommend Grants Village.

No tv (which was fine) and no a/c, but it cools off at night and the fan was enough. But, what was supposed to be two queen beds ended up being two doubles/full sized beds. And they were not comfortable at all.

We enjoyed the room and setting. The staff were helpful. The dining room view was beautiful.

All was good

Good place to stay if you want to be close to Old Faithful. It was a benefit to see it first thing in the morning before the crowds arrived.

Great view
-
Older lodging, no tv or microwave in the rooms! But good for an Overnight stay. Better directions to facility would help!
-
Nice setting but need better choice for food - without making a reservation.
-
I booked two rooms for my family. They split the rooms into totally different buildings even I booked them like 3 minths in advance. The dining room service is also extremely poor.
-
Be aware there is no elevator.

Beautiful Yellowstone lake view with Elk under your window

The dining room has a stunning lake view, and hotel guests can make dinner reservations. Be sure to plan ahead—the food took a while to arrive, but it was tasty. Overall, a great value for staying inside Yellowstone.

No microwave. It was an okay place to be if you wanted to stay inside the park.

Staying in Yellowstone at Grant Village was a nice spot to connect with nature and disconnect. The amenities were very simple but as expected going in - smallish room with two full beds, no air conditioning (was not an issue with cooler nights, no television (didn’t matter since was used solely as a place to rest our heads). Right on the lake, cool views at night and approximately 10 minutes from West Thumb. Food was good at the Dining Room. Did not try Lake Restaurant. Would stay again in future.
