Staff was wonderful and the property was great. Didn’t realize there was a private beach for hotel guests at the end of the driveway until the morning we were leaving. Would have been helpful to know that when we checked in.

Many upgrades needed. Shower was dirty. Outlets did not work. Lamp had no bulbs that worked. Window screens had holes. Bees coming in. Chipped wood on the tables. When first arrived was told patio with Lakeview. What you get is a tiny square with enough room for one chair. And a view of trees in a parking lot. You can barely see the lake. Tavern only open on certain days. The whole building has a strange odor. Would not recommend.

Our room, I believe #105, was right next to the check-in area and was a handicap-accessible room. The window was basically at ground level, and between that and the room lighting, it felt a little dark. The hotel does have a small beach area, but unfortunately it really wasn’t set up to be enjoyed. There were only about seven lounge chairs for the entire hotel, and they weren’t very comfortable. There were also three Adirondack chairs, one of which was broken. There were no beach towels or umbrellas available. Luckily, we had brought our own beach chairs, towels and umbrella. The area where the “pool toys,” floats, etc. were stored was locked, so none of those were available to use either. Just to clarify, there is no swimming pool at the hotel. There was also a firepit, but we were told it couldn’t be used due to fire department restrictions because of the dry conditions, which is obviously understandable. One thing that really surprised me was how much unused potential the hotel has. There is a good-sized porch off one of the function rooms that would have been a great place to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee, but there were no chairs or seating out there at all. The beach and outdoor areas co

We didn't use the hotel much except for sleeping as we were visiting friends nearby. The number of emails received was unnecessary and excessive and plain irritating as each one required opening an attachment to see if it was important and most were not.

Loved swimming at the private beach and being able to walk out to eat easily.

The front desk people were very helpful. Inn is in a great location. The room was nothing special but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. No view to speak of - the back of a bush. There were 2 of us and the 2nd person taking a shower in the morning only got lukewarm water, which was disappointing especially considering what we paid for the room.

Coffee and pastries in the lobby were a great touch.

Nice place in need of an update.

Building needs a paint job. Room was nice but a little shopworn. Could use some sprucing up. Very quiet, though. Very relaxing. Restaurant/bar staff were great.

Bar area was nice with a wonderful bartender. A couple of disappointing things are, no ice machines , although if you ask the front desk they will give it to you. They charge 2 resort fees, but only they can tell you why. The website says they have bikes available, but I saw nothing of the kind. Plenty of parking available. The good definitely outweighs the not so good.
