Hampton Inn Winchester

Clean The mattress was absolutely worn out. I had to sleep 3 nights on the bottom of the bed as the mattress was so sagging at the head of the bed.ice machine out on level 1, where we were staying. Hallways were very small as were the rooms. Not typical Hampton quality. Would never stay again.

Nice clean hotel. No complaints.

I was pleasantly surprised that for a smaller town this hotel went above my expectations. It was incredibly clean, there was always someone at the front desk and the rooms were actually really nice. Where they went above and beyond was they had a really good snack later in the evening to include chicken fingers for kids and the breakfast was very good. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful providing a list of restaurants in the area and how far they were I would stay here again.

Easy on and off interstate. King suite was awesome and the jacuzzi after a long day of driving was perfect. When I called was told all but one room was sold out. Female didn’t seem to know or wasn’t interested in booking. Went to the property and got exactly what we needed from the young man at the front desk. The outlying area (groceries, pharmacy) was really questionable.

Every part of the stay was nice. I'm happy we stayed after a long day.

Clean and our room was very nice. Bathroom space, also good. Nice breakfast. Parking is tricky when the hotel is full. The bed was uncomfortable.

Stayed for one night, June 13th 2026, when passing through from DC to St. Louis. Parking was free and plentiful. The desk staff was helpful but, forgot to give us our complementary waters. Our room was nice and clean and well supplied with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, toilet paper, facial tissues, towels, coffee maker, coffee pods, creamer, sweetener, cups, etc. The rom was nice and cool but the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were much too soft. The hallways and elevator outside the room were hot and muggy. While it was nice to have a hot breakfast, the eggs were rubbery and bland, the chicken sausage was too salty and spicy and the homenfried potatoes were mushy. It was nice to see yogurt cups, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, milk, three kinds of juice, multiple coffee choices and hot tea and hot chocolate available. There was also a waffle station which was a very popular option, as were the mini scones. Overall, our stay was adequate for a one night stay but, in my opinion, the Hilton/Hampton franchise can do better. One caveat that can't be changed by the hotel chain is that there are no restaurants or gas stations at all close to this hotel location. We had to go down the highway two exits, after checking in, in order to get dinner and gas when we arrived in Winchester, KY.
