Residence Inn By Marriott West Orange

This hotel was okay. Not the best and not the worst I have ever stayed at.

The hotel is undergoing renovations. The room was new, it's huge, and it is equipped as a suite so theoretically a person can even cook some meals in the small kitchen. The bed was comfortable and there are all the regular amenities that one would expect in a north American chain. The hotel outside is really nice and sufficiently far from any main road to create a quiet atmosphere The hotel is undergoing renovations. The corridors and elevator are dirty, stripped of carpet, and generally unpleasant. The room was brand new but with poor construction quality (uneven floor, construction marking on the sink surface, etc.). While the room was generally clean, one could tell it didn't go through detailed post-construction cleaning. And mostly, for this kind of price, one would expect something a little more invested. However, everything is just basic.nothing is high quality or really nice

Staff were very hospitable. The room was clean, but the room should have been aired out a bit more. The sofa bed mattress also needs to be changed; it was too thin and you could feel the springs. The breakfast was excellent.

the pool was shut down for the weekend, and that was the whole reason we booked the rooms.

The staff was nice to give us the upgrade of the room when he saw we had a big teenager with us. The suite was huge with a kitchenette. The girl has beautiful decor, views and a good breakfast. We love it. Need to have full body mirrors

The room was huge with 2 bedrooms and a living room. Very clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful space outside and if the pool was open it would be amazing. Definitely coming again.

One area for improvement: exercise room wasn’t restocked with towels & tv monitors on exercise machines have little or no reception.

I loved everything about this property! The staff are amazing!

We were greeted by Kimberly at the front desk who welcomed us with a becoming smile, a complete introduction of services and facilities available, and a beautiful room upgrade. Our upgraded Suite included a full kitchen and lounge area, plus a beautiful, separate double bedroom. Facilities were beautiful and functional, clean and inspiring. The breakfast buffet had myriad, delicious and healthy choices. The support staff were friendly and kind. The air-conditioning unit was a bit noisy on the first night , but then settled down after the first night of our day. 

This property is so beautiful, serene and peaceful. the grounds are so welcoming. staff were kind and courteous. rooms were spacious and amenities were plentiful. courtyard in back of property was inviting and pleasant. I definitely will be booking again on my next trip to the area. thank you!

The room was clean but very outdated. Breakfast was fine. The rate was awfully high for what I got, but understandable considering the World Cup.
