Omni Shoreham Hotel Washington DC

The Omni is a large hotel, but the check in area is quite far from the rooms and is pretty confusing to get to the correct elevator. The elevators are dark and musty. The ice machines are four different floors weren't working. When I asked the front desk where a functioning ice machine was located, I was directed to go to the bar and ask for ice. Mind you I had just gotten out of the shower and was in lounging clothes. It's obviou the rooms have not been updated in quite a long time; there are no charging ports in the rooms and other than where the lamp was plugged in, no plugs to charge devices. Not close to the monuments you go to DC to see, but very close to a lot of dining options.

I was very happy to receive a complimentary upgrade to a king-size room. The room was spacious, clean, and the bedding was especially comfortable. The location is great. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and really appreciated the upgrade.

Great spot for a weekend away!

Staff were amazing, hotel grounds and room were very clean. Would stay here again!

Awesome for families

Great for families with lots of activities to keep them busy

I love this hotel. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the property is beautiful. The trash can by the pool be cleaned more often, but other than that. My stay was relaxing

Outdated decor, dirty carpets

Breakfast was delicious Pool bar was awesome Pool was clean. Chairs were nice Chandeliers were gorgeous Lobby was excellent Staff was great -Luna was awesome A/c was nice. Beds were awesome

Everything was great and perfect for a quick birthday sleep. I will be coming back at a later time.

Everything was great and super clean, but the property is just “tired” and could use a massive upgrade in comparison to most hotels I stay in. The location is great and the cleanliness and hospitality made up for the older feeling of the property. I would stay here again.

Elevator was down in East wing but only for a few hours.

We dropped our son off at GWU and were looking for a nice place to unwind. The staff gave us great service and the accommodations were really nice. We loved the pool and pool bar for end-of summer fun before our long drive home. Cannot wait to come back here!

Beautiful resort hotel in Washington. Property large and beautiful grounds with lawn activities and very large pools with outdoor jacuzzi. Hot purchases by the pool. Breakfast was great on and elegant and upscale dining area with views of tranquil outdoors. Well appointed spacious rooms. Walk to shops and restaurants.

Outstanding experience!!!! We were extremely pleased with the very aspect of our experience at the hotel. World class all of the way.

I stay here once a year for the past decade. Love the place , neighborhood , food, ect....

It was a beautiful place. A few little glitches. Our fridge didn’t work and we didn’t know until all our food was ruined. They brought a new one but juts dropped it off on the floor. The safe didn’t work and the bathroom vent didn’t work so you had to wait to get ready when the mirror de fogged. The tone had what looked like decal material stains or blood all over the back of it.
