Pretty rude staff. Location is a plus though.

The property was clean. The Breakfast buffet was better than most hotels. The staff was polite and answered questions about transportation and things to do in DC. The hotel was in a good location.

In general the room and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our only problem lay with one of the bartenders who would not accommodate us when we requested to sit off to the side when we returned to the hotel at night to relax as we did the previous two nights. We asked for a specific news channel and were told it was “hotel policy” NOT to air any political channels. This was odd because when we checked in we noticed ALL 5 channels were tuned to our favorite channel & on those first two evenings the bartender Robert had no problem whatsoever accommodating us (again we were away from all others). Robert went above and beyond his duties and was a wonderful server. We felt Glen the bartender who refused the most mundane request took away from an otherwise perfect experience. We ended up going to a tavern we had enjoyed for lunch that afternoon and gave them our business instead.

Across the street from the metro. It’s on the blue line which gets you to all the major stops, including the airport. Staff were very helpful and kind. Room was spacious and bed was so comfortable. We would stay here again!

Location is the best part about this hotel: if you need to stay in the center or are priced out from other better places, this may be an okay option. Everything is very old and not well maintainer: wall sockets falling off, as well as pool illumination hanging on a wire. The cost of a "valet" parking with "limited responsibility" is just ridiculous. My room window was looking straight into the small yard with humming AC unit, couldn't open the window or at least the curtain to have some sun: it is not there.
