We happened to be there during the week between weddings so had the place mostly to ourselves. Lovely farm setting with vegetable gardens and chickens and pigs to wander among. There was a lovely watercolor painting exhibit in barn. Extensive trail system right behind the fields. Manager Stacy was very gracious and helpful. Breakfast cooked to order, delicious. Very peaceful setting.

We had a wonderful stay that was relaxing and close to spots we enjoy visiting. We can't wait to stay again!

. Loved the farm living experience. Waking up to some fresh breakfast made go your taste, with farm fresh eggs. Had vegetarian options too. A wonderful and a most memorable stay.

Yummy breakfast albeit slow in getting orders. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Wish they had better quality/scented bathroom items for hand soap, shampoo conditioner & body wash.

The room was perfect and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely book again!

We visited for one overnight. Our room ("Patience") was on the 2nd floor and you arrived at the room from outside the main building via the covered porch and up a narrow-ish set of stairs. The farmhouse is historic (from 1790s) and rustic. This room does have the slanted ceilings above several of the beds, limited furniture, and no tv (tv is available in a common area in the main house). The private bathroom has a single shower stall and single sink. The delicate water pressure in the shower made it difficult to rinse (in our opinion). The queen bed had two nightstands and a trunk at the foot of the bed for placing belongings; the 3 twin beds did not have associated furniture. We had 3 people in the room and thought that was plenty although there are sleeping accommodations for 5. The parking is ample. We stayed overnight on a Tuesday and the associated restaurant was closed so did not get to try it. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the chef was accommodating to individual choices. It was by far the bright spot of our stay. Our booking said it was included in our room (although it seems like now the listing where we booked through hotels.com says "surcharge" which I don't remember from when we booked). Be prepared for an added fee to be charged- which we were not so that caused us confusion. Breakfast hours were 8am-9:30. If you plan to try to get to skiing on the early side, then you'll need to adjust. Having coffee/tea available in evening would be nice.

Just what you'd expect from a Vermont farmhouse stay. Staff was attentive and courteous and a great breakfast to start your day and then at night a short walk to the barn on site for Flatbread pizza and beer! Would certainly stay again. Phil J.

Great staff. Clean areas. Premium breakfast food. Wonderful teas available, such a treat having afternoon cookies after a day at the slopes. I would recommend this property to all.

It was amazing to stay at this farm that was built in the 1760's. We loved the exposed beams in our room. The owner was vety friendly. The breakfast was great. We liked the location near Stowe.

Other than the bed being uncomfortable we loved it. Beautiful old farm. Great breakfast. We loved it. But a little pricey.
