The owners just purchased this property 30 days ago. I believe there were some renovations going on while were there. The location was wonderful-right on the beach. The room was not. Paint was peeling from the ceiling over the bed. The couch and chair in the room were worn and dirty. The tub had been painted but was peeling. Outlet covers were broken. The light switch in the bathroom was covered with an outlet cover leaving wires exposed. Also, the bathroom had dirt build up in corners. The phone in our room was not functioning. These were not deluxe accommodations. They were not even nice. Our son recently moved here so we'll be frequent visitors to the area. We will have to try other options next time.

This property was in such poor shape I can’t even imagine when or if it was ever nice. The parking lot was very small and oddly configured. There were 3 or 4 parallel parking spots that had no business being there. The front desk staff was on the phone for most of check-in and barely paid attention. I was initially offered my choice of floor (1-3) only for her to realize I was already assigned a room. Also, there’s no elevator. Upon walking into the room everything smelled like mold and smoke. The whole room was damp to include the bedding. We were afraid to lay down on the beds or use the pillows. I ended up getting Lysol and air freshener to disinfect the room and get it to smell bearable. We didn’t use the shower because of bits of mold. The mattresses were stiff but usable. There was a leak somewhere that left a permanent puddle on the balcony. The latch for the safety bar on the door was hanging by 2 loose screws and the bathroom handle was very loose. There must have been something on the floor that stained my bag because it had a brown stain which then transferred to the bed as I was packing up. Finally, check out was at 11am and as I was packing the car, hotel staff told my son at 10:30am that we had 10 minutes to get out of the room. The pictures online are very misleading and I don’t know what year they were taken but clearly not recently. I would say these postings for the property give a false impression of its actual state. DO NOT STAY HERE…EVER!

There was a leak on the third floor outside the balcony area. Inside our room, we observed what appeared to be mildew on the ceiling and in the bathroom. The room had a strong foul odor, the sheets had visible stains, and the refrigerator did not work. These issues made it very difficult for our family to feel comfortable with the accommodations. I was also disappointed by an unexpected pet charge. I paid for the reservation through Expedia and was not made aware beforehand that I would be required to pay an additional $60 pet fee at the property. With the additional charges, I paid approximately $68 more at the front desk upon arrival. Had this been clearly disclosed before booking, I could have factored it into my decision. These were not minor inconveniences. Guests should expect clean bedding, a sanitary room, working amenities, and clear disclosure of required fees. I am asking Expedia to review this reservation and issue an appropriate refund. I can provide photographs or other documentation of the conditions if needed.

At first I was apprehensive but for my family to have a beachfront hotel that was clean, made me feel better. The only thing was the beds need more cushion, but the fireworks on Saturday night made it better for the kids. Thank you.

Rooms are so dirty. The walls are dirty the ceilings are dirty. Hallways dirty. Towels dirty. Everything dirty. You get what you pay for. There's a reason why this hotel is the cheapest on the strip.

the owner so he and his wife came to correct the problem to include the tv issue. 2. I found some dirty socks between the wall and the mattress during my inspection 3. The ocean view was perfect since I was on the 3rd floor without any obstructions 4. The owner & his wife were very pleasant to talk to & resolved some of the issues 5. The property is more of a motel instead of a hotel and is definitely outdated 6. The slamming of other guest doors all night was unpleasant and paper thin walls 7. The location is perfect since it's on the strip near plenty of shopping and restaurants
