This was an absolutely great place to stay. I will definitely be staying again.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple different times and never had any issues. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is very helpful. It’s close to a lot of great restaurants and bars. I would recommend to book here, very good overall!!!

Some of the fixtures and furniture are beginning to shoe wear. More cookware and kitchen supplies would be nice.

No one around at check-in at about 4:30pm and waited about 5 minutes for someone to show up until I knocked glass jar on counter! Employee needs a little training in "interpersonal skills" but other than that it was a very good stay.....QUIET and restful!

aside from that I did like the room layout.

Great staff

The location and pet friendly.

There’s only vending machines on site for food. That was challenging. My room was nice but the hotel as a whole could use a major upgrade.

The hotel was clean , the elevator had the worst odor like rotten fish same as the hallways at night ? , our bathroom tiles by the toilet were uneven very strange feeling like you might fall through the floor .

This property is passable, but that's about it. The list of amenities is not accurate. Whatever is provided is half-hearted at best. There is no toothpaste (upon request). There were no cooking utensils, yet there was a hotpad. There was a dish-towel but no soap or anything to wash the dishes with. When I requested cooking utensils, the response was, "I'll see what I can find in the storeroom - people keep burning the pots and pans." They found one beat-up frying pan for us. One of two coffee cups clearly hadn't been cleaned (heavy lipstick). When I requested additional coffee cups, the response was, "We only provide one per person." The room phone mysteriously stopped working after my initial requests and never worked again even though I mentioned it more that once ("We'll check into it.") The key cards stopped working multiple times and they blamed it on my phone, even though the cards were never near my phone. The floor looked dirty. The drains were slow. The side table was rusty. A worn-out, poorly managed place.

This was my second time staying there, and I would stay again. The room was very clean and has about everything you need to feel at home. The hallways could use updating but not bad. Staff was friendly.
-
Smells and is very dirty. Carpet stains are gross and just overall dark and dingy.

As far as pet friendly I would disagree. You can take your pets but be prepared to pay $75 each per stay. We have stayed here a number of times but it has changed lately. The check in lady was downright rude. No excuse for the way she treated me. The check out gentleman on the other hand was very pleasant.

Location Person at the front desk was rude and impatient. Some carpets were dirty.

We have stayed at this location a few times and the cleanliness of the property has deteriorated in the last few years. The first room that they gave us had a horrible order. They no longer provide the reclining chair that they advertise. The first room had 2 hangers in the closet. The kitchen is no longer stocked with "2" of each item...plates, glasses, coffee cups, silverware, I had to go to the dollar store to get a couple of forks. It is to bad, because in the past we have been very pleased with the hotel. The location is great, the place is slowing going down hill!!

Very good for the money. Easy check in and check out. Clean room. Pet friendly.
-
Price is King but the value of Sonesta suites Troy, MI has dropped because the kitchenette no longer has anything to cook with. I probably won’t book here again.
