The room was clean and so was the balcony over looking the bay. I do not give five stars to many hotels, it is a lovely little hotel directly on their own beach. We stayed only one night but if we go back to Traverse city it will be on the top of the list.

The hotel seems tired. In our room, the seams of the wallpaper were coming apart. The hallway carpeting and decorations were aged and a bit dreary.

This hotel is right on the beach which is great. It is a close walk or drive to downtown Traverse City and a close walk to restaurants and fast food places. They.have a better than most breakfast bar and coffee and tea are offered all day long at the front desk. All throughout the hotel are seating arrangements for groups to gather. The pool right off the lobby and visible is very large and perfect for swimmers. The rooms are nicely appointed with two sink areas which is great for 2 people to get ready at the same time. There is room cleaning only upon request. The Bayshore is a great place to stay.

Great place to stay in Traverse City. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has an indoor pool and a beach on Traverse Bay. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The staff was beyond helpful, directions,places to go ,they never seemed to mind my endless questions. The coffee was the best I've ever had, my room was on the beach,the ducks were friendly, views terrific. I loved every minute there

I loved that it was located on the bay and we could walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. The beach was so beautiful and relaxing.

We took advantage of the shuttle with Spencer to downtown for dinner and shopping. He was pleasant and quick to pick us back up. Only thing not great was the ducks all over the beach and coming onto patio. They became a little annoying as they expected food for everyone as guest were feeding them.
