My Family and I really Love this place Excellent hands down very family oriented as well as for couples the restaurant on the property is always a great choice .

The grounds and outside lawns and gardens are beautiful, but the interior seems somewhat old and run down.

Beautiful facility and amazing grounds. Goosefeather is an incredible restaurant and a well cultivated space. The overwhelming, pungent, clearly ignored odor of mold coming from the carpet and behind the walls was insulting. Charging that much per stay and then forcing us to be subjected to that type of biohazard is shameful.

Beautiful grounds. Nice room. Great staff- kind and warm First room had a bed skirt that was dirty: it was obvious- we weren’t nitpicking.

The environment The room stinks and they need to change the bed

The room was clean …. But very few towels ….. called housekeeping……no response…went to the reception ….told us there was a sign to hang on the door indicating whether you wanted the room cleaned …..was not there …. Ask at the front desk and housekeeping “again” …. Nothing….so disappointing … We love to have a glass of wine in the bar ….unfortunately it’s only open to people dining in the restaurant …… breakfast buffet is very basic considering the price..

I was kept awake by people above me. Heavy walking I wouldn’t recommend staying on a lower level. The building is old and probably contribute to being disturbed by it

Beautiful Rooms could be more neater

Great grounds and nice room that had everything we needed. We had a great night sleep. The gym was nice well equipped and indoor pool are was nice. The pool area could have been updated noting at least 3 broken chairs. The outdoor pool wasn't that clean and there were guests blasting music behaving inappropriately with public displays of affection making it hard to read and relax pool side. Apparently there was only one ice machine in the entire hotel and when I went to the front desk to ask where the ice machines were they tried to fill it up for me at the front desk but that ice machine was broken too. They were very helpful and pleasant and wrote out directions for me to find the one ice machine that was working.

Beautiful property, clean rooms, didn’t stay long enough to use the amenities, but everything looked well maintained. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay. Property was beautiful. There is an indoor and outdoor pool. Went to the outdoor pool and swam. Very clean. I will stay again in the future

Loved the estate grounds, staff was awesome, very helpful and professional! Room was clean and this was truly a fabulous location to travel around this area ! We loved our stay here! Tennis and racket ball facilities are a bit outdated ….

We stayed in 345 and the air conditioner didn’t worked. The room was 85 degrees all night. The entire place smelled like mold and the sinks were clogged. Insane that a housekeeping manager would inspect that room and allow it to be checked in. The mold scent was across the buildings and rooms as my sister also stayed on 359. What a beautiful outdoor space only not to be maintained. The pool so small for an estate that size. Seems like they only focus on the exterior such as the gardens. Extremely disappointing and wouldn’t return again.

Very quiet room, NOT great for anyone with mobility issues, lots of stairs with no elevators. Not a problem for us, other than moving luggage. It's an old property which makes it quirky and fun, but also needs some basic updating, especially carpeting in rooms - all smelled a little mildewy. The buildings and the grounds are beautiful - I wish that we had been there to experience the casual dining, only the more upscale restaurant was open when we were there. The great lawn at the front of the hotel was nice. Would have appreciated some more dining/snack options and water/coffee in the lobby for guests.

Disappointed that there was not a cafe on the property to have a cup of sit down coffee or tea or a small breakfast or lunch. The Rockland building could use some freshening up with new carpet and some pictures on the wall, etc. In the rooms, need some kid of a hook or towel rack in the toilet/shower room to grab towel after a shower.

The layout is a bit confusing, and you might want to pack light as you will likely end up carrying luggage up or down at least one flight of stairs. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast in the manor house was a treat. Our only complaint was that the EV chargers were both essentially broken and there is only two which would have likely been unavailable considering the number of EVs in the parking lots.

Staff was friendly, but only offered one key…strange given that they were playing card keys. They said they ran out. No elevator to go up so heavy suitcases can be very cumbersome going down flights of stairs. Property is large, but not easily enjoyed. Sort of a clunky lay out. Location is good. Not sure I’d stay here again.

Beautiful grounds. Rooms are dated. Limited amenities … pool with limited drinks and no food. Only restaurant is Michelin rated so excellent n pricey. Only breakfast is buffet … $29. No microwaves in room. Mile plus walk to anything.

The property is in a beautiful setting on top of a hill with lawns and trees. There are two historic buildings. The rooms themselves are in need of repair. In our room the bathroom sink drain didn’t work - the lever to lower and raise the drain was missing. The remote control for the t.v. Didn’t work. A carpet seam was frayed.
