Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Downtown

Everything was fine with the stay until we used the toilet, we did not realize that the toilet handle was not functioning correctly so when we woke up the bowl had over flooded and the floor was soaked with toilet water.

Such a great stay at the Courtyard Marriott Tampa Downtown! The hotel was super clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The front desk staff made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived, and the valet team was always friendly and helpful. You can tell the entire staff genuinely cares about their guests. We would absolutely stay here again!

Property was excellent! Luz at the front desk was amazing and let us check in early after our cruise arrived early. Everyone was nice and the place was extremely clean!!!

The food at the bar and bistro was also very good and came out quickly. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and reasonably priced. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and appreciated how pleasant and accommodating the entire staff was. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott.

Needs updating

I had the cc in hand and identification. Including my husband's dl since the booking was in his name. He was parking the car and they refused to let me check in. Additional frustration is $40 per day valet parking or $25 per day self park. Never mentioned during reservation.

Staff was excellent room was nice and clean. We'll be back!

Exceptional

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. My room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect for attending conference events while still being close to restaurants and other attractions. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for your outstanding hospitality. You made my first conference experience in Tampa even more memorable. I look forward to staying with you again the next time I’m in the area!

I love the friendly staff and downtown location! I have stayed here a few times for those reasons, however, I have encountered musty smelling, wet rooms a couple of times. I understand the Florida heat may do a number on their ac units, but there was visible water damage all around my most recent room. Fortunately they have begun renovations, but not sure when those will be finished. Wonderful staff and an ideal location for exploring downtown, and close to college too.

Staff accommodating and helpful

Neat, tidy & nicely refurbished. We had to ask reception twice to request the people who partied during the night at 1am and 1:30am to quiet down as we could not sleep and had an early flight. There should be a quiet time and no party at the pool at late.

Valet parking was top notch, location was very convenient and the property was well maintained. I traveled with the kids and we had a blast in Tampa.
