The Nittany Lion Inn

I arrived at 1:00 a.m. due to a flight delay and found that my assigned room had not been cleaned. Although I was exhausted, I returned to the front desk, and the staff promptly changed my room. The next day, I noticed there was no shower gel. Reception informed me that their shipment was delayed, but it would be helpful to notify guests in advance so they can prepare accordingly. Additionally, the coffee machine in the room was out of order, though the staff replaced it upon request.Despite these inconveniences, the staff's service was excellent. The location is highly convenient with ample parking nearby, and the property has a charming aesthetic. The complimentary coffee and croissants were also enjoyable. I like this establishment and believe my experience was simply an unfortunate isolated incident.

Layout and design and amenities made for an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Nittany Lion Inn while in State College for Penn State’s summer semester graduation. Staying here made an already special weekend feel even more memorable. The Inn is beautiful and does an amazing job of blending its historic Penn State charm with a modern, elegant atmosphere. Everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. My room was extremely clean, comfortable, and relaxing, which was exactly what I needed during such a busy and exciting graduation weekend. The staff was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The location is also perfect for anyone visiting Penn State, especially for graduation, since you are so close to campus and right in the heart of the Penn State experience. Graduating from Penn State was a major milestone for me, and staying at The Nittany Lion Inn was the perfect way to celebrate the occasion. There is something special about being surrounded by so much Penn State history and tradition during such an important moment. I would highly recommend The Nittany Lion Inn to anyone visiting State College, whether for graduation, a football weekend, a campus event, or simply a getaway. I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely choose the Inn again the next time I’m in State College. We Are!

Spacious and clean rooms. Definitely would stay here again.

Room seemed clean, toilet was not flushing properly but we didn't know til later at night. Did tell them at checkout though. Somewhat over rated.

Overall the hotel is beautiful but service wise they need some direction. They were out of conditioner, there was no mini bar and the movies were not available.

I stayed at this hotel recently and was placed in two adjoining handicap‑accessible rooms due to a booking error. I didn’t request this type of room and wasn’t informed at check‑in. When I asked to be moved, I was told the hotel was fully booked. Better communication at check‑in would have prevented the confusion.

Beautiful property and excellent location! The suite was the perfect choice for people with kids. The sofa pulls out and you get a real door to separate the rooms. Restaurant choices were great also. Parking was valet and the staff was excellent and professional. We

The front desk very welcoming and pleasant, beautiful property, spacious room , cozy lobby. The toilet didn’t work properly otherwise everything was great and will go back again when visiting our collège daughter

The furnishings, towels, toiletries and coffee in the room were luxurious and lovely

The room was beautiful. Plenty of places to sit and hang out / lounge - on the 1st floor and the 3rd floor where I stayed. Staff was very friendly. They had 2 places to get food which was convenient. Parked in the lot next door and since I stayed on the Inn, it was covered, so that was a nice surprise. There wasn't anything that I didn't like.
