I could not stay and they would not give me my money back so I lost 250 plus

The lobby was beautiful and the staff were very kind, but there were several issues with the room and the staff couldn’t really find a solution that made up for the issues. Sand all over the floor of our room, back door didn’t open, front door was extremely challenging to open, the toilet and AC units were so loud that I didn’t sleep through the night, bedsheet was tattered.. the online appearance was very misleading. Would not stay here again.

The place where good but

What a wonderful escape! The resort was very well maintained, staff was friendly and helpful and the room was nicely remodeled. The cookies in the lobby were delicious. Pools were clean and water was a great temperature. The staff definitely works hard and took pride in doing their very best. The ice machines couldn’t seem to keep up with the demand of the guests. The floor of our room got a bit sandy, and it would have been nice to have a dustpan and brush to clean that up a bit. The hot tub was out of service during our stay, not a big deal, but we would have liked to have been able to use it.

Great little getaway by the sunshine skyway bridge. 2 pools a spa, restaurant on property and coffee shop. And skybar also paddle boards for free. Dog friendly was great for 50 a night.

Staff were amazing, very nice amenities. 10-14 mins from downtown. Rooms were nice. Will return soon.

Fun

I did not like the resort I wanted to leave and the refund policy did not allow any refund I understand policies and how they work, but the resort was at 5% capacity I would like a full refund over 1k for a two star resort

Location was private, easy access from Highway. staff was very friendly. Restaurants in the resort were excellent (little pricie), but you are paying for convinience). Great view from room in the morning. during our stay, we had the beach all to ourselves. Hotel charged me an additional 84.75 to actually give me the room I booked through Booking.com, even through the room description was the same. I paid it because I wanted the sea view as I originally paid for. Called it an upgrade.

Also, beware of the thin walls. You can hear every suitcase rolling over the loose tiles outside your door, and speaking at a normal volume in the room after 10 pm resulted in our neighbors banging on the walls and yelling for us to be quiet. I pointed out (speaking at a regular volume) that we weren't being excessively loud and suggested they call Skybeach if they thought we were. They stopped banging and never called the front desk. Imagine if we were watching the TV that was mounted to their wall… On a positive note, the larger pool was enjoyable, and the on-site restaurant served delicious food with an excellent bartender. Also, the coffee shop was a nice morning treat, again with exceptional service, and we enjoyed sitting outside to drink our lattes surrounded by local foliage. Overall, while it wasn't a completely terrible experience, I wouldn't stay here again. I feel like I was catfished by a motel pretending to be a resort.

Dog friendly. Nice location. Private beach, water activities, restaurants, and coffee shop on site. Beach side food and beverage service was excellent. AM staff at the desk were wonderful and helpful and gave us some extra time for check-out as a courtesy. Paid extra for the "Balcony with Sea View" but received a view of the gutter and rooftop even after asking for a room change. There was plenty of vacancy in August, yet we still received a substandard room. Parking fee is in addition to the $45 Resort Fee. Lack of information at check-in.

The room was clean but the floor could have been cleaner. I took my shoes off at the door but I still had to keep a towel by the bed to wipe my feet before getting into bed. I was there to for a short stay and didn't really get to use the amenities because I was busy elsewhere. But it seems like they would be nice if I was actually there for relaxation and fun. Didn't love that I had to pay for parking on top of resort fees and accommodations cost.

Wonderrfull

I was in town from Philly meeting my friend from Ocala for a long weekend and decided on this spot. Was an amazing stay the property and restaurants were well beyond expectations! I will definitely be back again.
