DoubleTree by Hilton St. Paul East

My stay here has been an inconvenience. It was hard for me and my friends to get house and it was three of us to the room. We heard the housekeepers on their personal phones, making calls instead of picking up the phone when we asked for towels that was number one number two we had to pay for 1495 for breakfast and I thought it would be free because we stayed there and we paid our hard our money living there three during the night we got we all got hot. Also the fourth one will be we couldn’t get a straight answer when doing the shuttle and the shuttle did not arrive on time when we wanted to go back to the hotel. We couldn’t get it straight answer. The lady didn’t know when they were coming. My shower curtains were dirty. We seen stains on the walls in the bathroom and even when we call to downstairs in the lobby, no answer, but when we use our personal phones, we will get an answer.

Friendly staff. The onsite restaurant/bar was good. Breakfast was very good, large buffet and lots of options. You do have to pay, but it a good price for what you get. Restaurant serves until 10 pm, bar open until 11pm.

I enjoyed the warm cookies I didn’t like the fact that the lady at the front desk didn’t made me aware of the free cookies until I brought it to her attention

The staff was nice, customer service was outstanding, my room was clean and the cookies they offer at front desk are fresh and the coffee was hot and fresh

Renee, the front desk woman was very nice and helpful. She made us feel welcome and had good conversation during check in and throughout our stay.

Walls and carpet are dirty, and smells unpleasant. Front desk is a mess, and sets the expectation for the rest of the hotel. I would not stay there again.
