Okay had to asked for my room to be turned down and towels due to a week long stay
-
Little bit warm in the room. Needed a bath mat to step out of the shower.
-
One of the sheets had a stain, I used a disinfecting wipe to clean it and it came right off, which tells me they were not washed or replaced after the last guest.

Passable

We really enjoyed your lovely hotel. Thank you!!

On-line check-in was annoying, and instructions for room entry were unclear. Overall, a very nice experience.

The location was close to Washington University and it had gated parking … everything about the hotel is self service … The new trend in Hotels is there’s no workers you do things online … if something goes wrong you call and maybe you get a person and then you texted codes to get in and out of the hotel and in and out of parking I never saw a front desk staff. It wasn’t for the cleaning lady I wouldn’t have seen anybody that worked at the hotel. Some people may like that.

Codes instead of room keys

This is a great hotel if you are on a budget and need a hotel close to SLU. The rooms are smaller than what Ive experienced at other STL hotels and the shower stall was also quite small—our 15 year old commented that it was small but “it gets the job done.” The gym equipment was adequate. They have a nice kitchen on the main level and an ample supply of coffee and various teas. The jacuzzi was dirty and then seemed it was being repaired (we had no plans to use it, just an observation since it is advertised in the photos). There is a gas station in the same block that has good breakfast sandwiches, and other gas station like pre packaged food. The hotel told us we were VIP, which gets you one night of free parking. There seemed to be alot of VIPs during our stay. I think they give you a free night to get you to go ahead and pay for parking. However in the evening til about 8 am theres free street parking and parking for two hours during other times is about $4.50, so paying $15 for parking made no sense for us. All in all, a pleasant stay in a small room.

Very clean rooms and convenient garage parking at a great price

Community kitchens were very cool but we didn’t know about this until we arrived. Also we had to call for our codes to let us in to the hotel & room from the parking garage. We chose this hotel because they had an onsite secure garage however it does cost $15 to park there in addition to your room but we never gave our plate numbers and had to call to get another code to exit the garage. No one at check in desk - just called a number. Which was fine but she didn’t offer information so we had to call again. Never found the ice machine. And the fitness equipment isn’t adjustable for shorter people like myself (5ft tall) and I really wanted to use the bike and exercise by knee after knee surgery as they really helps me get through my day. Would be so nice if they had some breakfast items besides coffee and tea available. They have the space to provide this.

We were moving our daughter to town. Our room was the executive suite and had plenty of room to bring in family, as there was a separate living area from the bedroom. It had a nice kitchen, and the half bath was a plus. It even had a bag of popcorn and some coffee. The parking garage was gated, and building security was good.
