Moxy Springfield Downtown

The roof top bar was nice with great drinks and delicious bites! Service was very hospitable at both bars. Plan to eat breakfast out if you want more than a yogurt parfait, fruit cup and store bought pastries. Fun game area and nice couches and chairs to relax in.

The staff: The woman who checked us in was very helpful. When we checked out the man was not. They give a chip to get a free drink and the person who checked us in did go over it quickly. When I went to redeem I needed a refresher so asked. The response, “what did the person who checked you in say?” I responded with I didn’t recall. So he was put out with having to explain again. The rooftop bar was nice, but again, not much staff.

Cool downtown vibe hotel. Nicely updated. Rooms are small, no seating other than the bed, and no refrigerator. We found an ice machine on our floor but no one buckets to use. Wonderful staff - all very friendly, helpful, and super quick check in. The rooftop bar and sunset views were amazing! The downstairs bar and coffee bar were also great. There was a lot of noise on the 2nd floor before dawn - sounded like someone dragging metal chairs across a hard floor and there was no going back to sleep after that unfortunately.

Had a good stay here. The st Patrick’s day parade was right outside the door on our day 2 there which was a nice fun surprise. The baristas during the day down in the lobby were cranky, unmotivated and very un-welcoming but the tender at the roof-too bar was super cool and accommodating! I’d consider staying again.

Moxy has a real chill vibe! The rooftop bar was comfy and had plenty of seating. The rooms are bare bones as advertised, but super comfy and we loved having all of the hooks for purses, backpacks and clothes. The location is close to the downtown square, restraunts and entertainment. My husband and would definitely stay here again.

Nice atmosphere from the moment you walk in. You check in at the bar and get a free drink token. They have a closet on every floor full of stuff one might forget while traveling. Nice bar on the bottom floor and nice rooftop bar. It's perfectly located downtown where you can walk to plenty of places.

The Location and the amenities

Terrific place, downtown Springfield. Utterly walkable. Nice sized surface parking lot adjacent to hotel. Very quiet. Fantastic staff.
