Totally recommend this place

Couldn’t get the tv to work other than that the location and staff weee great clean rooms as well

We really enjoyed our time at Basecamp! We will definitely back for another weekend in Lake Tahoe!

Such a fun vibe. Close to shopping, casinos, the lake and restaurants. The live music was amazing.

Hotel food was ok

This is our 2nd time staying here. It’s definitely not a fancy hotel with a bunch of amenities. It’s the basic room that is comfortable and for the most part clean. The carpet could be a deal breaker. Wound be much better with tile floors. It is definitely convenient for entertainment at the lake. The coffee shop is nice. The grounds are a laid back vibe with a small bar.

Breakfast at Trail Folk on-site was delicious and the South of North brewpub is a perfect meeting/hangout spot. We were at the hotel for a concert at Caesars outdoor venue next door and the location can't be beat. Clean, quiet hotel with a comfy soft bed.

Cute and close to the casinos. Voucher to make the lake entry cheaper. We had a problem with the fire alarm in our room and they upgraded us immediately. Staff was so nice.

The location to the concert venue Loud. People letting kids run up and down hallways and slamming doors.

Great location. Received a floor level room on request. These rooms must be having AC unit issues, as our unit had a floor unit with the exhaust vent running out the window (we saw several others nearby). While the unit did a good job cooling, it left our room accessible by the window (i.e. we couldn't lock it). Checked with the front desk and there was little interest in helping us with the problem. We eventually found a way to remove the unit exhaust form the window and lock it. We had to set it back up every time we returned to the room. Not ideal as a paying guest of the hotel. Will probably check out some other options in the area next time.

We were traveling with children—one of whom was just a year old—and were assigned a room on the third floor; since the hotel has no elevator, carrying a stroller and suitcases up the stairs was very inconvenient. So, if you are traveling with kids, keep this in mind. Otherwise, everything was great, and the children were delighted to sleep in the bunk bed.

What a great find. If you’re going to a concert at Ceasers Republic this is the spot to stay. We are at the Brewery and had breakfast at their little kitchen spot and both were exceptional. Especially for the price!!! Looking forward to going back in winter.

Perfect for walking to the casinos and the amphitheater!! A bit of a longer walk to the lake, but walkable. The staff were super nice and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire area by the front office and the courtyard area with live music, beverages and some games. There are two well kept hot tubs that we enjoyed. Especially the view from the smaller one. It’s a great motel! Clean, quiet and convenient! Seemed to be plenty of parking, though some are tight. They are not kidding about the Tahoe bear! Take care of your food and trash. The restaurant in the lobby was so convenient for coffee and a quick breakfast.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The beds are super comfortable! Coffee shop in the lobby has great coffee and food. Nothing. If I had to complain I didn’t love the smell of the provided soaps. But they fit the basecamp theme. Truly no complaints.
