Towneplace Suites Sioux Falls South

Clean room, but property can definitely use an upgrade. rug was shabby and room smelled old. Needs a refresh. Additionally, I went to the front desk and specifically asked for a room "refresh" and to fill the conditioner bottle in the shower (which was empty upon arrival). The "refresh" was barely satisfactory - beds not made and I never got the conditioner I asked for! I had buy some on my own which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, I went to town on a family emergency with 72 hrs notice. I made a one day change to my reservation 48 hrs in advance - and was charged for six nights instead of 5. Expedia tried to resolve this and get my refund but the manager refused, and it took him several days to do so! I have filed a formal complaint to Marriott about this issue. Also the "hot" breakfast was not great, sausage and some variation of powdered eggs every morning. Marriott can do better!

Exceptional

Spacious rooms and generally clean. However, housekeeping was not great. We were out all morning and requested at front desk for our room to be cleaned and it was still not cleaned at 3pm.

Rooms were super clean, beds were very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was decent. Hot tub and pool were clean and nice. Area felt safe.

We lived our two bedroom room! Very spacious and affordable. Clean!

It’s quite a nice, clean room; the only problem is with the breakfast. Breakfast was pathetic. I think they need to stop serving breakfast because of their hygiene problems.

Breakfast could have been better but it was pretty standard. I didn’t like that I booked the hotel with the website stating that checkin was 3 and checkout was 12. Luckily I called to see about early check in and was told Check in wasn’t until 4.

I loved this stay. It was very clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff were very helpful. Great place to stay and I liked the kitchenette. They offer different appliances and seasonings we could use!

Quiet and clean

While the breakfast was minimal, the rest of the hotel was comfortable and lovely. Given how reasonable the price was, the room we stayed in surprised us -- it was clean, comfortable and pleasantly decorated pleasantly. We have added the chain to our list of first choices for when we travel.

Staff was friendly and the room was clean! We had to park in the restaurant next door parking when we arrived back at the hotel. There was not enough parking

It was a great place for us to stay while we were in Sioux Falls for my 50th high school reunion. Will stay there again if we need to visit Sioux Falls.
