Staff was very helpful and friendly. You stay at the Palihotel for its downtown location. Bring your earplugs to sleep in this busy area then walk to everything, or catch the train, to all the fun during the day.

Stayed here for one night with my daughter and found the front desk staff very kind and helpful. Enjoyed this unique hotel.

I wanted to love this hotel, but the noise from the alley outside our 4th floor room was loud and disruptive all night. Just about when we’d fall asleep, something loud would happen.

The hotel itself is very eclectic and beautiful. The location was incredibly convenient right across the street from the Pike Place Market and one block from the light rail. Because of the location, there is quite a bit of street noise day and night. We had a last minute hotel through Expedia and the only room available was a room with bunk beds. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the linens are great quality. Unfortunately the room was not clean. It appeared to be very dusty, it felt like the room we stayed in was not occupied for some time because there was dust in everything from the coffee cups to the bathroom mirror. This was disappointing considering how expensive the room was. The girl staff was helpful and friendly and the lobby was inviting. I would stay at this hotel again if it were at a better rate than what we paid ($300). Overall it's a beautiful place at a great location. Our room was just overlooked I guess.

Loved the place. Only thing is that room was facing alley with dumpster. Odors and early morning noise from filling and emptying was only issue.

One step from the Pike Place Public Market! Beautiful place to stay for a Seattle trip.

The location was excellent. However, the downtown streets are noisy with many loud motorcycles revving their engines at all hours. And because the building, and its windows, are old, the sound was easily transmitted. Likewise the sound of heavy footed guest in the room above us was easily heard. The library was nice, and restaurant is very good, as is their service. But it is not open on Sunday or Monday, so plan accordingly. And the bed and pillows were not good for my back, but probably fine for most people. Overall it was fine, but next time I will look for a hotel in a quieter location.

Had a wonderful stay this past weekend. There was a hiccup in my reservation, which was my own fault. However, Harry and Siobhan worked their magic and made everything effortless and completely made my entire weekend. Thank you both so much for your help and service.

Great for a stay close to shopping, pikes market and pier. No issues other than the light above the vanity is very dim and they said that is usually here that a lot of

The lobby was amazing, had so many places to lounge and the attached restaurant and bar was amazing. Great location can walk Pikes in minutes. The vibes are fantastic, love the color scheme.

very comfortable, great location and pretty good food in the restaurant The mini bar is stocked with grossly over priced snacks-13.00 bottled water! Not sure why they bother!

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Check in was good. Staff at the bar were a disappointment. - ordered food and they forgot to put the order through. When identified ordered more drinks and again didn’t put through. No housekeeping for 2/3 nights as staff resigned and staff didn’t show to work. All excuses and no accountability.

I stayed for 3 nights. First thing I noticed was the smell of the floor (3rd), it was a very strong and unpleasant smell. Not a fragrant odor, but one that reminded me of masking mold. The room smelled even worse, the odor was thick. At this point, I realized I was not going to stay at this hotel again. Friday, I left the hotel at 10am, and came back at 2:15pm, my room was not cleaned. I asked for some fresh towels. Next day, I asked for my room to be cleaned - they responded with “sorry we had 3 people call out”. I came back and in the afternoon and my room was not cleaned again. I gave up at having standard expectations of my stay. So all in all, the room was cute (the studio), snacks and fridge had variety, water pressure and tub were nice. Restaurant food was good and friendly. But the stench and lack of basic needs of housekeeping were enough for me to not return. Oh, and when I was going down the elevator to check out, the housekeeping supervisor asked if I enjoyed my stay and I decided not to mention anything - she quipped with how busy they were this weekend and how people called out and how she had to come in on her day off, how she missed her sons birthday and how it wasn’t fair that she had to come in on her day off….which I think that’s terrible she missed her son’s birthday but also, I’m not a therapist. I am a guest, staying in a hotel, that should have had the basic needs a hotel has to offer.

About an hour after check in a house keeper entered our room while my husband was showering. She opened the door saw the room was occupied, closed door quickly, i went out to the hall because it all happened so quickly and she didn't even apologize for entering. Woke up with bad back ache, bed was horrible and it was so noisy in the room.
