Rest Haven Motel

The rooms have recently been updated and the Cottage was a perfect room for us. The exterior might need modernization but they seems to be working on that. Over all a good stay and we would stay there again.

Small but great property with clean room and quick drive to Santa Monica beaches.

It would be helpful if we had tissue and paper towels and ice.

Nice proximity to Santa Monica Beach and pier.

Room was spotless but the fridge leaked and rattled all night long. Place was quiet with easy parking and hot shower. Toilet unsteady and moved when flushed. Room small and didn’t have tea or coffee making facilities. A good half hour walk to beach.

The room was cute and very clean. Shower had great pressure and was HOT! Only downfall was no USB ports for charging and no ice machine.

The entire staff was very nice and friendly! My room and the property was clean! The air conditioning worked well and the little soaps were so cute!

They tried to give us a different room than the one I booked. I let her know and she fixed it. The room was pretty small, the twin beds are like 2 inches away from each other. The bathroom is very small, barely any room to turn around. The location is good. Some sketchy people in the area but we didn’t have any issues. Definitely overpriced for what you get, which isnt much.

Not Happy!

It was a nice and comfortable stay. The room was clean, spacious, and located in a great area with plenty of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The towels were clean, and the entire property was well maintained. I would definitely stay here again. Theirs nothing that I didn’t like.

Great little motel

It was beautiful inside clean Wish the check in time was earlier then 3pm but the check out time is early not even noon it was at 11 am which feels kind of disappointing

Nostalgic Route 66 feel

Although the room was dated, it was very clean and the location was good.

Tiny tiny bathroom. No mirror, but a small one in the bathroom.

It’s a small, cute room. Good condition. Mini-fridge and AC were good. No coffee maker. The bathroom was really small with no counter space. I had a room with a queen bed and 2 twin beds. The queen bed was comfortable but squeaky. The twin beds less so. Clean.

Room was very clean and comfortable. We did not spend a lot of time in the room aside from sleeping.

However, we spent a little over $500 for 3 nights here, and I honestly felt like it was not worth the money. The room and bathroom were all pretty clean, so we had no complaints there. But the AC in room 8 needs to be serviced or something, as it leaves a weird musty smell in the room as it runs. The fact it worked was good, but the musty humidity it gave off made it feel weird to be in the room. Also, showering was a nightmare. It would take forever for the shower to warm up. But when it finally did, it would stay burning hot to where you could barely stay in the water without burning yourself. If I turned it any colder the shower would just turn off. The area was kinda iffy too. I know its Santa Monica, but its kinda tough to get parking depending on the time of day, and its smack right in front of a Jack in the Box. Overall it was a decent stay but it wasn't worth the money in the end.
