This was a decent stay in spite it being across the street from the tenderloin district. This best western hotel was practical for me since I was attending an event in the civic center area and was only about a 5-7 minute walk near Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Be aware it is a little shady at night so try to do any walking activities before night time. Breakfast buffet is filling and consists of continental breakfast items , self-serve waffles, and microwave made eggs and breakfast sides. Hotel workers were helpful in providing recommendations and tips about the city

The hotel was very clean, room is spacious, and comfortable. The room was well-maintained, with plenty of space to relax and move around. Everything felt fresh and inviting, and the overall stay was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

Good Staff

Clean room and had a good breakfast!

Hotel surroundings not so good. Not in a good neighborhood. Breakfast was decent. Staff was helpful. Longer than normal waits for elevator. Parking very tight.
-
Clean place with parking. Heard people screaming and yelling in the alley all night. But for a cheep place in the city it’s not bad

Check in was a breeze, the room was so clean and comfortable. We were able to arrange early parking to enjoy the city, and we felt safe on property. The breakfast had a lot of options and we were able to be really ready for another day of sightseeing! The only challenge was the tv not working properly, but we didn’t need it for the first day and didn’t notice until the morning. When we let the desk know they went to fix it right after we checked out. Overall, great experience, would definitely consider staying there again.

Our room had bed bugs. Once we discovered, they changed us to another room, and there was no evidence of them in the other room.

Everything was great. I would have given five stars but the bathroom door did not give much privacy. It was a barn style door that had gaps on the sides and was made of frosted glass. Other than that everything was great

Hotel was clean and comfortable in pretty good location with walking distance to public transportation. When next time in San Francisco I will try to book the same hotel.

Just an okay property

All good

The undesirable: We really should have looked up the neighborhood of this hotel before booking it. It's in the Tenderloin. Do a Google search to learn more about what to expect there. Also, there is a lot of noise from the streets. Every morning around 6:00 AM a loud vehicle crashes through the alley behind the hotel. Lastly, the dining area for breakfast is very small and cramped and hot.
-
Small elevator. Can only fit 4 adults at a time.
-
The breakfast was really disappointing. No juice and space was very limited.
-
Breakfast good but the breakfast room is kind of small. The hotel was clean the room!

Staff was friendly. Good breakfast. Decent beds. Windows did nothing to keep sound out. While I expect sounds from staying in downtown; I don't think I should have been able to hear people on the streets with all windows closed. Its also not advertised on the site that if you park in their basement you cannot leave or arrive after 9pm. Essentially had a curfew if I wanted my car to be in their gated lot (the whole reason I chose this property to stay at).
