The Dana on Mission Bay

The restaurant was excellent!

Room was fairly clean. Staff were very helpful. Pool was great. Location was very close to the beach.

Great hotel on Mission Bay, the entire family enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and the Firefly restaurant for convenient and tasty meals near the pool with views to the bay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff was super helpful

Everything was very maintained, customer service was great. Food is pricey but it was delicious everytime

Property was clean, close to mission bay beach, right in front of the marina. The hotel has a lot of activities during the summer time we went. They have live music at the firefly restaurant during dinner. Parking spaces are small and the EV chargers weren’t working. Overall it was a nice stay close by Seaworld.

GREAT place. Cleaning staff is excellent. Having Firfly on the grounds is a great bonus. Poolside drinks from firefly! Also great location, close to great beaches and everything. 2 family friendly pools. For the price you can't beat it in San Diego.

Always stay at the Dana when I’m in San Diego got a bay view room upgrade which has spectacular sunset views: The pools and hot tubs are great the bars and drinks always good with daily specials and happy hour deals. Lots of things to do on-site from boat rides to bikes to paddle boarding. I’ll be back!

The A/C unit in my room was so noisy some times, I’m not sure if was my room or the room above me but I was very noisy.

In general The Dana is a great place . I am being picky giving a 4 star for the maintenance of out door grasses with gardeners seeming to need to make noise mowing or trimming main grass Parkside (next to bay) not just one day but 2 or 3 days 7:00-8:00 am. One day should get the job done. Our balcony needed to be washed down from bird droppings. The rooms are clean and the place is very dog friendly. The pool next to the Firefly Restaurant was very clean and nice with enough umbrellas . Staff were great , friendly and helpful. Nice bar drinks and restaurant food varied. Outdoor dining a plus. Pretty lights at night. Grounds have nice tropical Plants everywhere. Friendly and nice to walk the grounds.

Only thing is there was construction outside where we stayed and they started early (7:30) and their construction trucks made driving and parking near our stay a pain. But we love the Dana

Clean room and very friendly staff. Four days and three nights was just right.

Everything was good

One night was not enough. Although the room was small for our family of four it was more than enough and nice. The bar and restaurant were very tasty and happy hour was great. We were there in the middle of summer ending so the pool was adequate but I’m sure in high season it will feel cramped. Location, service, views, we will be back.
