Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is nice but it’s just too packed. There’s a lot of kids running around due to the sports clubs staying here. Our room was somewhat clean but there were areas that could have been cleaned better. The shower was not the cleanest. There was a dusty sock underneath a drawer that was not ours and it’s probably been sitting there for a long time. Our WiFi didn’t work . Neither did our small fridge. It’s not a place to relax. Yes, I’d agree that the hotel did look nice in the pictures and from outside but once you start to inspect your room, you will see what I’m talking about. Id never stay here again.

Overall experience was good. Pool was great and restaurant food was really good. Just wish housekeeping would pay attention to corners and baseboards through out the facility.

The location of this hotel was great. It was near a shopping center and close to the freeway. The parking was a little challenging because the spaces are really small. Many people would take up 2 spaces, but found out our last night there is overflow parking in the back of the hotel. Our first night none of our outlets were working, including a refrigerator. We had to charge our phones in the bathroom. I called the front desk in the morning and they sent someone up right away. The maintenance worker checked the outlets and fixed them. Clean room

Clean room and lobby, pool is nice too. Wish they had better access to a water filter in the lobby for people arriving late and leaving early mornings. Gym was closed but had access to the neighboring hotel. All around great experience at the Marriott as a solo traveler. Location is very convenient to the train and local restaurant gems.

My family and I had a great time and stay.

Very happy with location as most areas of SD were within 15-30 minutes! The pool and hangout amenities were fantastic, I paid for the buffet breakfast which was pretty good. The staff were generally helpful and nice.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was convenient, and everything made for a relaxing, enjoyable experience. We’d definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel with comfortable beds, a very nice breakfast buffet and a very nice pool area.

I booked the wrong hotel and it was a nightmare from the beginning. The hospitality from check in was a joke of customer service all the way to the so called “manager”when I had an issue of finding a condom in our couch. Bedding was solid. Bathroom shower was clean but leaked like a flood that we had to use extra towels.

The room was clean and pool view was so cool. I would definitely stay at the San Diego Marriott Misson Valley again and again. Thank you for making my trip memorable!!!

I highly recommend for anyone traveling!

Our hotel room had a trouble with the shower as it did not heat hot water until the shower has been on for more than 5 minutes. It also had an issue with the main shower head. The room was also very dirty, the floor felt sticky and like it had not been swept well. Overall I would give this a 4/10.
