Ramada Suites by Wyndham San Diego/Hotel Circle Area

If you have children I don’t recommend this hotel. The area is not the best with a lot of homeless people. Checking in the staff was nice. We did get charged extra for checking in 1.5 early. Which has never happened to us at any other hotel if the rooms available parking was $14 a day. We took absolutely everything out because of the amount of homeless people around. Going into the room we greeted with an awful smell. It was over 85 that day and the room was super hot! It was the worst landlord special we’ve ever seen! Everything was either patched over with paint or cocking. I gotta say the bedding was clean. The “free breakfast” is pretty much just bread.

Breakfast was very good. The attendant was helpful & friendly. Front desk staff were professional & friendly. Housekeeping staff did a very good job. Location of my room was on 3rd floor & the one window was facing the parking lot of the adjacent bldg. The fitted sheet on the bed was clean, but matted. I slept on the cover sheet which was nice. The bed was too high for me. I had to sit & swing my legs up ol n the bed.

Very clean and comfortable The pool and jacuzzi were disgusting and there’s only 1 microwave in the dining area for the whole hotel to share. $14 for parking per car per day is crazy. Park on the street there was plenty of parking

Rachel was very polite and helpful when I arrived at 1:30 in the morning , checking in was a breeze. Breakfast attendant was good and kept everything restocked as needed .

Rooms were run down and dirty in the corners. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Probably wouldn’t chose to stay again unless it was one the only options. Online made it sound like it would be mediocre but it was sub par.

The room smelled like sewer and the bathtub didn’t drain well and the water kept dripping from the faucet. Had to keep the window and fan on so it didn’t smell as bad.

the staff is great and they do their best to keep the place clean. there was no issue with my stay at all. breakfast leaves much to be desired, and like the hotel itself, pretty bare bones. but it is cleaned and the staff is truly wonderful so!

The location Staff wasn’t very friendly. We had to switch rooms because the stopper in the tub was broke and the a/c wasn’t working. We had to go to the front desk 4 different times to reprogram our keys. We had ants in our bathroom and were told we could switch rooms again or they could spray but we would have to leave for 4 hours. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I will not be staying at a Ramada ever again
