I didn't like the room. Very very little space. And the show was not big enough. Also there were not enough towels given out
-
The cutest hotel for my group’s stay! We enjoyed all of the amenities. Room was clean and well keep and the staff was super friendly! I would definitely stay here again when visiting SD!

the elevator is a staple but due to the old structure it does take along time get down and up to your room, plus it is super hot.

I loved the warm welcome of the staff and the beauty of the hotel. The rooftop is a huge bonus. The restaurant is lovely. I wish my windows were cleaner and the second elevator had been working. I will definitely be back. Please note this is in a very busy area so there is street noise until the wee hours at least on the weekend when i was there. I loved it and expected it. If you want character in a hotel close to everything I highly recommend it.

The hotel was super cute and clean. However the elevator situation was not ideal. It took a very long time to be able to get and we either had to wait or walk up 9 flights of stairs.
-
The Design of the hotel beautiful. Content was well thought out. Having use of only one elevator and no with difficult. The building such as plumbing and the air unit is more attention. The café is called is absolutely delicious and both chest nasty staff were pleasant and overly accommodating.

Our stay at the Pali Hotel was great. We came down to SD to move our daughter into college and stayed at the Pali for Thursday - Saturday. Check in was easy and the lobby was beautiful. They really know how to cater to your senses at this hotel, as the lobby smelled amazing, it was clean and welcoming. The room itself was designed well and cute. If you know the history of the building, this is an old 1900's building, so the rooms are cozy, but perfect for a couple. The bathroom was clean and updated, but kept with the vintage charm of the building. The elevator was a bit slow, but again, it is a vintage building and they do have a nice seating area outside to wait for the elevator. The roof top bar was AMAZING! The views and the vibes were great. We also enjoyed the french resturant attached to the building. Besides the vibe and aesthetic of the hotel, the real win here is the location. It's right in an area where you are in the middle of everything, but not deep enough into the Gaslamp district that you have the unhoused sleeping right outside the hotel. Tons of nightlife, restaurants and fun things to do within in steps of the front door of the hotel and everything else SD has to offer is a short drive away. Definitely wouldnt mind staying here for all my future SD trips.

Quiet, clean here. Lots of charm

Location Have stayed at this property many times before current owners ruined it. Only one VERY slow cramped elevator working. Restaurant was changed to some want a be upscale french place that apparently NOBODY eats at. Formerly it was called Brian's and had a great 24 hour menu and crowd from all over downtown. Won't stay there again.
-
Tiny room, unhelpful staff. Can't recommend under any circumstances. Several items in room needed repair or touching up. During check-in, the staff member helping me dropped everything to assist a rude, non-hotel guest asking random questions. Avoid.
-
There was only one working elevator. The AC did not work and leaked all over the floor.
-
Not much Ac, elevator
-
It was an odd hotel, Staff had a weird energy, it was very quite and kinda creepy
-
First of all, the first room, the air did not work. Telephone did not work. One elevator was broken. The other barely worked. They gave us another room. The A/C barely worked. Could not adjust temperature. The staff were very nice.

great location for downtown especially if you’re going to petco park.

A unique, charming, older hotel with a great tradition in San Diego. Built in 1913, the hotel has managed to maintain a simple elegance, not often found in newer hotels. Centrally located as well to the Gaslamp District. Loved it!
-
Cute hotel in a great location, rooftop bar has amazing views, clean rooms, comfy bed. Would definitely stay here again!
-
This hotel is incredibly charming and cozy! We stayed for a night to see a concert at Petco Park, and it was the perfect walking distance. The hotel was very clean and so pretty! The rooms are smaller but for what we needed it for, it was perfect! The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly. The attached café is beautiful and has FANTASTIC breakfast! If we stayed in Gaslamp again, i will be back!

Great boutique hotel with its unique style. Only bad thing was only one elevator working. And sometimes it took forever just for the elevator to pick you up
