The hotel was just ok. It’s an older building and in need of renovation. My room door was missing part of the bottom threshold so there was huge gap. I had to put a towel down for security. The room was clean, but carpets and walls were stained. The hallway from the elevator was dirty and needed to be mopped. The continental breakfast could have been better stocked. The attached bar and grill was convenient. I used the 15% off coupon offered at check in to grab a cheeseburger. It was very good! Overall, it’s a decent place if you are staying short term and the location is close to downtown.

Restaurant was nice and food was good. Bartender was very nice. Frontdesk staff was great moved me into a suite which was way better than room 423 that I had. Very clean no carpet which I liked. Thankful for his help in moving me. I didn’t sleep well do to inconvenience of loud other hotel patrons.

I always do these relative to the price paid. My wife and I liked this hotel. It was close to the Concho and the historic downtown area. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. The coffee in the lobby was always on and tasted fresh. I would say the only negative from our stay was that that the visiting team to the Angelo State football game ( reason we were in town) stayed there. After the game, they started coming in and were rather noisy. But I don't put that on the hotel. The included breakfast was good too. We will be open to staying there again.

Make sure that you have a back up plan in case you book a stay here. They cancelled my stay that I booked months ahead just to free space and accommodate another occupant. No one could tell me why I was cancelled, when I was cancelled or who cancelled me. Also, for some reason you will never be able to speak with a manager.

Clean rooms great staff , great bar
-
We booked a handicap accessible room and didn’t get any thing close to a handicap room.
-
Our experience there was awesome. We will always choose this hotel to stay when we go to San Angelo

The room was clean but the frequently running AC had the decibel of a freight train. Breakfast was the poorest ever seen.

Elevator was a little sketchy if it was going to work, front doors were broken, room definitely could be cleaner and not have torn sheets tv remote barely worked, but bed was comfy and staff were very nice. Overall pretty decent.

The breakfast wasn't good—I don't know, maybe it wasn't fresh—but it wasn't good.
-
While I was there they didn’t even come in and make bed or give me clean towns , clean towels. Nor did they lean the room
-
Old hotel.....stained carpet, very loose toilet seat, equipment in room via microwave and coffee pot not plugged in. Had to ask for a remote for TV x3.

I am not sure if it is a remodel or a permanent change but all the entrances near the front desk were blocked off forcing all entry and exit down a long hall of hotel rooms which felt awkward and stuffy; especially when moving luggage. That also made getting luggage into and out somewhat problematic. Other than that, it was a very nice stay in a dated but comfortable facility.

Staff were incredibly helpful and nice. Restaurant/bar in the hotel was pretty great. Only complaint was smell during pool issues at beginning of my stay and the front door to the building was broken/ had an issue with it being really hard to open most times. The walls were very thin and the pictures online kind of raised my expectations too much for what it actually looked like. But great comfortable place to stay with really great staff.

Wanted to enjoy some relaxing time in the pool during my stay, but it was being drained the entire time I was there.
-
It was clean as it could be. Needs new carpet in rooms. A little run down.
-
Stayed for the weekend and super nice place. Very clean rooms. Bar and grill was fantastic. Had a band playing for entertainment and was so much fun. Great breakfast and coffee. 10 out of 10. Will be back.

The only reason for the 3 stars was the front door was broken and the other small door was not easily accessible
