Soudersburg Motel

Cleaning staff didn’t understand English and after being told not to clean my room cleaned it anyway and threw away a box with brand new mask for c-pap. No one spoke English when I checked out so hopefully they read this review and correct the situation. Made sense after i found out not English speaking that they cleaned the room but shouldn’t have thrown my box away with mask still in it

The staff was friendly both evening and morning as was the cleaning staff. It's a simple older feeling motel, but our room was clean and kept. The hair dryer was broken, but a walk to the front desk fixed that. We enjoyed the restaurant across the street and the few shops that were open at dinner time.. It was a good overnight stay.

The room was clean, except on part of the blanket looked like blood. No Iron, or board. No cups for hot water, just plastic 2 for cold drinks. The remote for the TV was hard to use as you had to open the Box on the dresser to turn it on. The very basic for cable. Bed was to hard pillows had no fluff. Big black crawling bug in bathroom. Another on the wall in the room. Air-conditioner needs to be maintenance because the room did not even cool off. No lotions, no hair conditioner. Sink needs a new screen for the water as it sprays everywhere. Need your phone charged bring the base for your charging cord. Not just your cord. Otherwise you will be sol. They could get the lamps on Amazon cheap so you just plug in your phone cord. Location is great , could have a goldmine if they made some upgrades.

Amazing property, stay there every time I'm in the area you cannot be the price for the accommodations.

This is a No frills motor Lodge, it does have a fridge and microwave in the room. The beds are extremely comfortable and it is clean. For the price and the location it is perfect. The restaurant across the street is absolutely amazing!

This place should be condemned. Feral cats run the place being fed by the lady who works at front desk. Ice machines don't work, advise from management go to store and buy some.

Wonderful, quiet, relaxing place to stay. I would recommend anyone to stay there and would stay again.

This hotel is certainly showing its age but the room was clean and it had a wonderful shower. The pool was not open and the ice machine was in a weird area. The staff was welcoming and friendly. It was basically worth what we paid.

Room was clean, just hard to get into parking lot from RT 30 West. Easier to go past turn right on Ronks road turn around the head back East on RT 30.

So imagine my huge disappointment when I pulled in and the first think I thought was God does Norman Bates work here. The pool was inoperable, dirty, disgusting and the exterior of the building and parking lot gave very uncomfortable and unwelcoming feeling. I chose not to stay. I'm sorry but this hotel needs massive renovations. From the outside it looks more like a homeless hotel. I'm sorry but I'm just being honest.

The shower part of the tub faucet did not work properly, but we made do without it. The room was nice and the cleaning staff were friendly.

Ac worked well. Room was nice and clean. Pool was closed. Bed was fine just kinda firm.

The toilet handle was broken. Had to be jiggled to make the water fill the tank and stop running and eventually fell off. When I told staff, nothing was done even tho the woman said she would alert them. Waited an entire day - told them when we were leaving for breakfast and wasn’t fixed when we came back for bed at 930pm. I had to fix it myself by sticking my hand in the tank and reconnecting it. The beds were very comfy. The sheets and pillow cases had stains on them but looked clean otherwise. Not a single bug or remnant of a bug anywhere in the room. They advertise a pool. It was covered and obviously hasn’t been open all summer. We wouldn’t have booked at all if we had known this.

The room were very clean. The only problem was there was a very strong smell of cleaning solution in the room that caused head congestion. The refrigerator did not seem to be working well and the catch pan under freezer section was completely filled with water. Asked for assistance at front desk. Said that they would get someone to check it out but no one ever came. Staff was cordial and polite. Parking readily available right outside of room, made for easy unloading and loading of the car.

Other than that, everything was fine. I’ll definitely be back to this motel next time.

The motel meet what we needed for a one night stay.

Didn't like that there's a $175 hold on debit card because I wasn't told about that until I checked in and not everyone traveling through has that much extra to play with. I understand it because some folks destroy things but I think that $175 is too much.

They walk in my room for no reason at all while I was naked I asked for a manager they acted like they couldn’t get in contact with him
