Skyline Hotel Detroit Airport, SureStay Collection by BW

The first room they gave me was absolutely awful, the bottom sheet on the bed looked like it had already been slept in. The second room (top floor) was nicer but in both cases the lighting was dim (was it clean? Impossible to tell) and the ceiling felt low. The woman at the front desk was standoffish the first time and when I went back she was a little nicer. The bartender downstairs was amazing and welcoming and funny, I wish I could remember her name. The food menu was very limited and much of it was unavailable that night, so I ordered a delicious falafel burger from a nearby place. Basically just a slightly run down airport hotel that needs a makeover.

Our room was clean, the staff was kind, the bed was comfy, there's an airport shuttle that leaves every half hour, the towels were soft and fluffy and although the bathtub wasn't as pictured on the site (which was why we chose the hotel) we'd stay again

Unexpectedly I needed a hotel near DTW due to my flight being cancelled. I selected this hotel for the reasonable price (since there are many expenses with canceled flight). Front desk was super helpful, had a shuttle come quickly, their restaurant/bar was open late for a great burger and drink (bartender very friendly!). Room was clean, spacious and updated. Bed was really comfy. Shuttle back to airport ran on regular 1/2 hour schedule. I would definitely recommend/stay at this place again!

Very clean and very comfortable and taken care of hotel right by the airport WITH a 24 hour shuttle! Will definitely be back again - this was my second time!

Get a good night's sleep here. Room was clean but could use a deep clean.

It was loud, people yelling. Felt unsafe. Fire alarm went off for awhile then stopped. Would not recommend.

Only issue is the $100 security deposit refund. According to the hotel, the refund takes 7 to 10 days. However, the charge was immediate. Three days now so still waiting for the refund to show up on my credit card.

Large hold on funds for incidentals. Wanted to charge $25 per hour for late check-out .

It was kind of noisy this time, but the room was clean and no issues parking.

friendly staff, room clean except carpet, had a musty smell-dated rooms. price was right!

I liked the convenience to the airport but the maintenance on the property was lacking. This felt more like a roadside motel that was nice but slightly scary in many ways. I appreciate the decent nigjt stay abd room was clean. But overall facility was fair.

Close to the airport and the staff was very nice
