There wasnt a manager on staff over the weekend. And only a manager could fix the issue of me being double charged. Ive left several messages and have not heard back.

Save your money and go somewhere else. Rooms were underwhelming and no hot water. Maintenance came and said you have to turn on sink for about 5 minutes first to get hot water in the shower. Crazy. Expensive parking too. It was not a Grand experience at the Kahler Grand Hotel. Glory days are long gone.

There was construction literally right outside my window in the attached parking garage. I was unable to do any calls or work from my room due to the obnoxiously loud construction. They should not have rented out those rooms on that level while construction was happening.

The room was clean, but dated the bathroom was clean but old ,water leaked out of the shower to the floor Nothing you can do about ,it faucets very old didn't work real well. Not enough staff at front desk. Other than that price right and central in the subway system to go to the Mayo Clinic. I travel to mayo every three months. I would probably stay again.
-
The distance from Mayo was the primary reason for use. The light switch inside the door did nothing. The first night the desk lamp would not work. The refrigerator was missing its shelf. There was a lot of confusion on my reservation. Causing my room to be emptied of my items and loss of my planned meal for the second day of my stay. This annoyed me as I was told multiple times it wouldn’t be a problem.

Toilets were too low for seniors….put higher toilets in. It is ridicules to have to sit almost of the floor, especially in room 562!!! Otherwise every thing was wonderful!!
-
Thank for listening and please fix toilets!!!!

When we checked in the computers were down. We waited over an hour and were then checked in without the aid of the computer. We had to subsequently go down and check in again using the computer. Our rooms were not cleaned until the last night only after asking.....this was late afternoon, early evening when we returned for the day. Kendra was very helpful at the front desk and Steve in the Essex bar was an excellent server.

Works great if you are having surgery. Staff are great.
-
I love the conscience of this for Mayo medical,if you are staying to accompany someone for lengthy appts there is so much to stay busy.Shoppimg ,coffee, relaxing and touring(walking) without even having to use a vehicle.Parking is also great on your own or at the door valet

It's always a pleasure staying at the Kahler Grand Hotel. I doctor at Mayo Clinic and the convenience of being so close is such a comfort. This is my first choice when booking in Rochester. The only thing I could think of is there wasn't a spare roll of toilet paper in the room- we ran out the morning we left.
-
Connected to Mayo Clinic very convenient. Dead roach in the bathroom, noisy.
-
Kayla is a very nice hotel very safe area close to restaurants, coffee shops, bagel shops. And in our case right by Mayo Clinic, that’s why we were there.
-
Kendra front desk and Steve bartender were great. We stayed 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. Would come back to room early evening, notice it hadn’t been cleaned, call for some towels and 2-3 hours later someone would show up with towels. One of worst hotel experiences.

The bathroom stinked and it was next to the bed,

Rooms are clean and updated. Our room had a very small bathroom with no counter space which we made work. The bed was quite firm which was fine for us. Pool and hot tub was great!
