La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Austin South

On my second day, I noticed that there were ants on the desk, some were over my laptop, I went to the front desk and attendant just said: oh, they just small black ants, do you want some poison so you can apply? What kind of answer is that. Very disappointed stayed. Employees don't care about guests. I don't think I would stay again at this facilities.

We have always enjoyed staying at La Quinta because of its welcoming service, comfortable accommodations, cleanliness, and pet-friendly policies. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet the standard we have come to expect. The hotel was clean, the amenities were good, and the front desk staff was generally kind and accommodating. One associate was especially helpful when she moved us from room 511 to room 513 after we reported a problem. Unfortunately, both rooms were extremely hot and humid, and the entire 5th floor felt unusually hot, almost like a sauna. After experiencing the same issue in room 513, we did not feel comfortable asking to move again, especially since the problem appeared to affect the entire floor. The temperature made it difficult to sleep or feel comfortable. We were also concerned that the room phones appeared to be disconnected or nonfunctional. This made us feel unsafe because we had no reliable way to contact the front desk or request assistance from our room. Whenever we needed something, we had to walk down to the front desk. Our interaction with Mr. Bhavin Patel, the General Manager, was particularly disappointing. He came across as rude and seemed unwilling to address my concerns. When I explained how disappointed I was with the situation, I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously.

Property well kept. If it is not a new building - it feels like it is.

It was clean. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is extremely clean and the staff was super nice and helpful.

Otherwise, the bathroom was very clean(no fan?) and the room and bed were good!

The staff was really nice and the breakfast really good There was a lot of homeless people entering the hotel and it was really uncomfortable to have breakfast with all the noise and the argument they had with the homeless man

Rooms and whole place are nice. Bed is amazing and it happened to be pretty calm and quiet environment. Staff are nice but could be a bit nicer.

Check in was easy. The room was clean and spacious. I booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool. I would consider staying there again the next time I visit Austin.
