This place is fabulous. The view of Rock Creek from our balcony was lovely. Food was great. You will get a great MT mountain feel when staying here.Red Lodge is a nice little town to experience.

Loved our entire stay

My family was a bit surprised by the cost and quality of breakfast. The room was good, though, and the check in process was seamless.

We had a great room. Loved the river view.

Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is in a beautiful setting and incredibly peaceful. Food at the onsite restaurant is ok, not great and a little too expensive.

Beautiful spot with great upgrades done to the property. Wish we’d had more time to spend there.

Beautiful setting with spacious and well kept room. Staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. On site restaurants had good food and service. Highly recommend.

The property is beautiful with lots to do. Both restaurants were excellent and staff were kind and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Very nice place to stay. Favorite thing was the creek outside the balcony. Was also well stocked and had nice toiletries and was nice not to have to unpack to clean up when just staying one night passing through. Would definitely recommend!

We chose this place to stay since we were pulling a 40 ft trailer behind us on a trip and the map showed they had ample room to park. We didn't do much research on the resort as we were traveling from a work trip and heading home with time to spare. We were blown away by how beautiful, peaceful, hospitable the place was. It was Father's Day and they did a special outdoor grill with drinks for the fathers. The room wasn't ready when we arrived but they bought us some drinks while we waited. The staff was very friendly and shared the history of the resort along with the renovations that they did. The room had a lovely balcony that was backed up to the stream which was peaceful to listen to at night. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable for us. The breakfast was unique options and delicious. We had dinner in the restaurant which had the original bar from early 1900's and food was wonderful. I would love to return again one day.

I was traveling through town for work and last minute booked a room here not knowing much about it. They were a little behind schedule on room cleaning but I had my room by 4pm on the dot! The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and offered a complimentary beverage and kept coming back to refill while I waited on the patio (gorgeous spot to get a little work done while listening to the river). I was so pleasantly surprised by the room it was clean and gorgeous. The sunset was unbelievable and I am just so happy to stumbled upon this spot! I am going to come back for a personal getaway ASAP! Highly recommend. I didn’t eat on site but the restaurant also looked amazing!

Although we didn’t need it our room was handicap accessible. So, the shower being a walk-in pretty much left water on the entire bathroom floor. Very poor shower drain design. Also, the A/C in the room was a portable stand alone unit that was so noisy we didn’t get much sleep. Thank goodness we only stayed one night!!

Was all good, would definitely stay there again

Absolutely spectacular property. Falling asleep to the rushing creek was mesmerizing.

New paint and flooring only goes so far. They really needed to make the bathroom bigger - it is ridiculously small. The toilet paper holder literally extends over the seat space. Unless you have the hips of a toddler, you either sit & roll off whilst descending, or pull the roll clean off the open-ended spindle whilst ascending (praying you didn’t just send the whole roll into the bowl). Once enthroned, it ends up under your arm, and drawing your arm back in an attempt to retrieve tissue for civilized living will only cause you pain. You will hit the back of your elbow against the protruding roll spindle, resulting in either a whacked funny bone or a bruised elbow, depending on the urgency of your reach and speed of movement. When I mentioned this vulnerable state of discomfort to the front desk, they said it was a common complaint. Apparently not enough to enact change. The restaurant was similarly expensive and lackluster. Adding an egg to breakfast was another $4, with my choice of scrambled, scrambled, or scrambled. I couldn’t even get my overcharged $4 egg sunny side up. When I got the scrambled egg, it was clear why… it would have required an egg still in the shell in the kitchen… not whatever carton mix this was. When asked, I was told “well the kitchen is downstairs.” ? Overall, my impression is this resort really wants to portray exclusivity (and a price tag such status brings) but doesn’t want to go beyond optics.

The view of the river from my room was magical. The fire pits and saunas were fun. I highly recommend a stay here if you can plan to dine somewhere else!
