Days Inn by Wyndham Rapid City

We liked the size of the room and the beds were comfortable. However, the shower toilet room was tiny! One could barely turn around in it. The toilet seemed exceptionally low. It required extra care to sit down!

The AC worked. Non-smoking room ordered smelled of smoking. Couch had holes where the foam stuffing was popping out. We couldn't let natural light in the room because window was at the level of the parked vehicle tires. People going in and out of an exit door just around a corner.

Our stay was excellent. The rooms are nice and has all the amenities.

Carpet should be cleaned in the rooms; otherwise it was great. Anthony was awesome.

Room desperately needs updated! Furniture old and scratched up. Carpet old and sticky. Soiled bed topper. Hotel staff at check in was friendly. Breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, waffles, toast, granola bars, apples, donuts, cereal, and English muffins. Had to ask for butter. Not impressed. Pool not bad. No fitness room. Definitely a budget hotel.

The carpet needed cleaning in the room, other than that, they stay was awesome. Staff were very friendly and the room was clean. Wish there were hot breakfast items other than waffles but it was ok too.

It was all good.

I wanted to leave but I was with others. When I checked in they gave a room did not have a king size so they gave me one with two queens that had sofa with holes in it.. I complained so they gave me a different room, they did not have shampoo, closet with not hangers, not drawers to put your clothes in, no chairs to put your suitecase , door in the bathroom did not close and it seems it was cracked and the fixed it by putting screws, sink was rusted and dirty..breakfast was a joke, not milk, not bowls for cereal, not scrambled eggs, this is horrible experience and I will never consider this hotel chain.

The room had everything (a/c, hot shower, clean towels, etc.) but everything else was extremely dirty. The free breakfast was the worse I ever experienced.

This hotel and experience was just “meh.” Our room smelled like it was once a heavy smoking room and they tried to cover it up with a gross smell. The carpet was stained and I didn’t want to step on it with my bare feet. The pool was ok. It was warm, but nothing special. Breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, cereal and waffles. There are tons of places to stay in Rapid City- if I were to do it again, I’d choose somewhere else.

Lights out at the entry. Back door lock was broken. Accessible was poor. Could use a remodel or refresh in the common areas. Toilet was really low for a hotel, only seen them that low was at a daycare.

The pool worked but there was only one light (I checked the switches), so it was very dark inside.

Stayed here not long ago. The cleanliness has gone down hill. Breakfast just as well not advertise that there is breakfast there. The carpet had stains on it. Turned the ac on smells like it's in dire need of cleaning.

No elevator,the breakfast consisted of a few donuts,some cereal,coffee no juice.

Shower okay, and tv worked fine, when we were there. Filthy carpet, bath towels rough, barking dogs, lot of trafficking in and out of hotel side doors,
