Hampton Inn Phoenix-Airport North

Property is a bit old. AC on fourth floor did not work. Our first room was 80° and never cooled down. They moved us to a room on the first floor and it finally cooled down after several hours. Not worth the money.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the standard fare you would find for complimentary breakfasts in similar hotels with hot and cold options. Outdoor pool with the fountain-like water spraying into the pool was a nice addition. One of the front desk staff was abrupt and could have been more welcoming while the other front desk staff were very pleasant. Close to the airport, but no stores (other than in a gas station) or restaurants within walking distance. There is a restaurant/bar in the neighbouring Radisson Hotel which had good food, friendly staff and decent prices.

The beds were comfortable and clean, and the swimming pool was very nice and big. The breakfast was good, but I noticed the man in charge of serving the food did not refill the empty hot food trays, even when there were 25 minutes before breakfast ended. He seemed to be in a rush to close the kitchen right on time at 10 am on the dot.

Did not get room I reserved. Front desk clerk was terrible, was not treated as a Hilton Honor’s member. Clerk kept stating was Expedia’s fault, but would do nothing to correct. Will never stay at Hampton again!

Very close to the airport and a very helpful staff. The airport shuttle was excellent.

Perfect place

It was a good stay. I had to pay a fee to leave my car for a few days. The pay was a little steep.

Did not get the room I booked! Hotel staff did nothing but state it was Expedia’s fault! Being an Hilton Honors member didn’t mean a thing. No complementary water nothing. Paid a lot of money for the wrong room - twice! 3 people in a room with 1 bed and a crappy uncomfortable pull out couch. 1st floor listening to traffic all night and a tub no good for a handicapped person. Would never stay there again!

Everything was pretty standard up until a few hours before check out. The shower head magically stopped working while taking a shower! Young girl downstairs could’ve cared less. She told me she was going to call maintenance and send them up. NO ONE CAME. So I didn’t get to take a shower!!! Ughhh despite that issue everything was alright. What a way to dampen the mood!
