FOUNDRE Phoenix

We have stayed there many times but sadly this time around we chose to leave. We booked a deluxe king and got the tiniest little hole in the wall room on the first floor where the homeless were walking by your patio with 0 privacy. We looked online to see if we could move rooms. Mind you we would have gladly paid to upgrade but the manager said they were full even dough it showed otherwise on their website. The manager did not care one bit so we left.

Great stay and super spacious and clean rooms. Self parking options aren’t great however but was offered valet.

Really wish the mirrors were bigger , but overall a great value for the price, parking is not included but you can find parking in the lot behind the hotel $32 bucks for overnight.

Great place to stay overall!

This hotel is funky in the best sense of the word! From the moment you walk in the main entrance and see Burt Reynold’s Cosmopolitan spread behind the registration desk, you know this is not your ordinary hotel. The staff were all so friendly! Around every corridor and shared spaces, there is local artists’ works adorning the walls. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had an unusual feature for you to discover. Highly recommend this location, especially if you plan to attend a show at the Phoenix Theatre.

The room was very clean and hotel in general was clean and the environment as a whole was a vibe.

Parking is not the best. My girlfriend picked me up for dinner and while she was inside the parking attendant put a boot on her car for not paying.

There was mold all over the shower. The whole bathroom is tile floors and walls. In the shower, there was mold in the corners and on the wall where the shower head was. The water does not get hot either and the water pressure is terrible. It was a luke warm trickle. The AC in the room does not work great. You can "change it" on the thermostat, but it doesn't do anything. It was set to 67 but the room sat at 75 the whole time. It was a bit toasty trying to sleep when it was 75. There was also no fitted sheet on the bed, which is gross. There was a loose sheet on there they wasn't even tucked over the mattress. I moved the pillows and saw the mattress exposed under them. Since it wasn't a fitted sheet, throughout the night, the loose sheet moves and exposes the mattress. Don't want to be touching a bare hotel mattress. It was disappointed because the hotel itself is cool and trendy, and the room looked nice at first glance, but was not good the closer you look.

Never disappoints, located next to many great restaurants & bars

Our short little staycation was perfect at the Found:re. The hotel was trendy, clean, and Fun. We loved the food downstairs and the room layout was fun and creative. Might be my new spot for staycations.

FOUND:RE is great and always our preferred location to stay in Phoenix.

I wanted to like this room. It was cute, has a great bathroom and view. I started in room 715 but the HVAC system was not working well. The room was great otherwise, but it was 115 outside and I needed a cooler room. The staff was great, fast and friendly and swiftly moved me to a new room, room 707. This room was cold, but so dirty; my shoes stuck to the floor, you could visually see stains on the doors, chairs, floors and counters. Both the bathroom and sink had visible black mold/mildew. The room smelled like marijuana masked with heavy cologne upon entry. The sheets and towels were clean so….not wanting to complain again I and cleaned up myself. The restaurant had great food, big portions and great fast service.
