We had a good stay
-
The first room had nonfunctioning A/C and already had a portable cooler in it, suggesting there may have been a known issue. After I complained, we were moved to another two-double suite—again with nonfunctioning A/C. Maintenance staff were the only people who were genuinely helpful and sympathetic. I was traveling with two young children playing in a tournament. The room remained 77–78°F overnight and we could not sleep. Management offered 30% off or said we could check out around 1 a.m. I actually tried to find another hotel, but could not get checked in elsewhere after midnight. A front-desk employee even told me, “It’s not that hot; it’s cold outside.” The next morning, after multiple calls, I was repeatedly told there was no timeframe for moving us and they would “try” if a room became available. When I questioned why my reserved room type had been changed, the Assistant GM responded that we had been given a bigger room and continued offering discounts rather than a functioning room. We were finally moved around 1 p.m., when the room had reached 80°F. Hilton Guest Services was also unhelpful, telling me that because I was on the property, I had to resolve it directly with the hotel. Equipment can fail; what was unacceptable was how poorly the situation was handled.

The hotel was well-matched to our needs - valet parking, close to our intended intown destinations, and reasonably priced. All in all, perfect for us.

I needed a room with 2 beds to stay 1 night while moving my college student in to an apartment. The price was okay and the location was excellent so we booked it. When I got into the room, the entry door had a hinge problem forcing the occupant to lift it up to fully close it. The tub/shower lever was also jammed so that both the tub spigot and the shower head were operating simultaneously. The cleaning of the room and bathroom was okay but not getting into the corners. Not my best stay at this property but I will give it another try on a future visit.

I really loved this hotel. Upon checkin Mont'e gave us info about where to eat and have a good time. When we got to our room the TV did not turn on and it smelled a bit like smoke. We called front desk and they immediately upgraded us and gave us a much nicer room for no charge. It is close to an Acme, Cinemark, and McDonald's so that was helpful. The breakfast was very good as well. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. Property was very clean and staff went above and beyond for us. Thank you!!
