If you are only staying 1 or 2 nights, Extended Stay America is not the right place. The whole place had a depressing feel. Lots of cooking smells. And the “breakfast” was really just a coffee bar.

You know shower scum? You know when its recognizable but no one thinks its their duty to get rid of it? You know a fix and flip property where you know the carpet must be the first thing to go? You know when you walk into a place knowing there is for sure mold present? You know when the air quality will absolutely make you sick if you do stay? You know when you can tell the employees probably are working beyond their ability and capacity? You know when the other patrons are permanent guests and it appears to be doubling as a rescue mission of sorts? You know when a place appears to have no sanitizing measures in place? You know when a place should not be an option on third party sites so its up to reviewers who wasted time, energy and money to warn unsuspecting travelers? You know when you have to find the money for another option because you shouldn't have even considered this in the first place? Thats this place.

The lobby was clean The room was untidy and my 8 year ong found a crack piper under the bed he was shaking it up and down like it was a toy
-
Picked for location Room was very sub-standard and in need of repair. Full trash can was left in the room. Facility looked sketchy. We left and found another hotel.
-
Nothing. Unique was the dirty hotel. Smelly linens, cockroaches.
-
The staff was nice. I wasn't pleased with the hotel.

Not the way A look at pictures. Nothing beside location.

The whole stay was meh. Room was outdated. No comforter on the bed. No dishes or any utensils in the kitchen, but you can ask for them at the front. Complimentary breakfast was packaged muffins and oatmeal. You have to pay for parking. $25.90 for 2 days, i didnt see that in writing anywhere when i booked the stay. Several times at night theres no staff to be seen. Have to wait a long time to be helped if you need anything unless its early in the day. Vending machines were crazy expensive. $5 for a 20oz powerade and $6 for a bottle water. Overall not super dirty, everything was basic. Could have been worse, but honestly wasnt anything great. Also not their fault but the closest wawa was very sketchy, saw prostitutes and crack heads everytime i went.

I'm 50 years old, thank you for giving me the opportunity to see and experience cockroaches for the first time. I have video and pictures. Maybe that's normal for the area. I grew up in the City of Chicago, yes the city, and I've travelled the world, never seen them. But this hotel gave me the cockroach experience, so I guess I'm supposed to be thankful for cleaner hotel stays in my previous years of travel?

The room they gave was already in use. The.next room was dirty w sink with some odorous residue
-
The hotel is tired and worn out. With so many options,I’d recommend for you to keep looking.
-
AVOID AT ALL COSTS so you don't have ptsd for hotels.
