The front desk guy was very rude when I tried to check in and prior to check in when I called the office to request a handicap room. When I arrived, it was a little after midnight as I had already spoken to the guy and told him that it would be after 11 sometime when I arrive. He stated that there were no handicap rooms available on the phone and i would have to deal with an upstairs room. I stated that I am handicap, and would prefer not to climb stairs if at all possible. He stated again, that there were no downstairs room available. I get to the establishment, and it was hard to find the lobby entrance. I finally find the entrance, and i go inside where the guy is doing night audit and stated that he should have already cancelled my reservation because it was after midnight. Even though I called prior to arrival. He states that the night audit would take a while and that I had to wait. I was here on business and had to leave at 430am and wasn't going to get much sleep anyway. He then put me in room 122 which is a handicap room downstairs that he stated would not be possible to get prior on the phone. It was not a pleasant experience to say the least.

We stayed one night only on our way to Guadalupe Mountains NP and it was reliable and comfortable. Easy to check in and walkable.

The breakfast wasn't a big enough variety. The food ran out and they didnt put more out.

The moment we checked out and got away from that place is what we liked. Room 117 in Pecos, Texas Had Mold Growing Wild, I will be contacting local authorities...there was mold dust in the curtains. in the ironing board and in the bathroom the mold is actively growing on top of the bathtub unit. Toilet was plugged when we walked in. Telephone was not connected and could find anyone at the front desk. Nobody there, unable to call from room. I have attached the pictures for the toilet, ironing board, and shower/bath unit. I did not want to touch the curtains or even get near them
