Beachcomber Beachfront Hotel, a By The Sea Resort

My stay at Beachcomber was an excellent experience. The staff was helpful and the room was very nice. The only problem I had was that our shower did not work. If you spend a day at the beach you really need to have a shower that works. The stopper to the bathtub did not work either. I had to wash my hair in the sink. I reported it to the front desk but it was never fixed. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. Good maid service and the bed was extra comfy.

Expedia's reservation process does NOT make it clear that in spite of their "We are different, fees and taxes are included in our prices" is NOT true. When we checked in the hotel demanded $165 more (I did know thatthey had a $100 'refundable deposit') but thought that when I paid Expedia's charge that I had paid completely. Expedia "HELP" desk (off shore with accent) was useless and simply insisted that I had topay the extra amount and when I asked for name, email or physical address to send a complaint to they refused and transferred me to a supervisor who was alos useless but PROMISED that I would be contact by Expedia within 24 to 72 hours...hasnow been 5 days with, of course, no follow up contact. The 'off shore support is useless and apparently there is no one on shore who cares at all about possibly deceptuive marketing. A very BAD way to star a brief vacation.

Pool, tiki bar, and beach is close. I didn’t like the process of parking. No one wants to drive for hours and fill out that stuff. Hand us a parking pass.

The balcony was missing screws and wobbly and the hotel room had exposed cords on the wall the curtain rod wasn’t screwed in just sitting on the thing easily could of fell off and the window looking out the the beach was so dirty you couldn’t even see out of it and the vent on the bathroom ceiling fell off and hit my little sister in the head and their was water leaking all into our hotel room when it rained the elevators where messed up and stopping hard and bouncing up and down while riding in it and the pools where dirty and the front desk didn’t care if you had problems at all and their was barley any parking and hard to get across the road to park worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at would have rather just stayed home

I absolutely loved the view! Staff was amazing and super accommodating with our late check in, they even let us check out at 11. Pretty standard hotel room style condo. Perfect for the price! Would stay here again :)

My only complaints: the elevators are a little slow and the key card usually takes several attempts to open the door. The beds are a little hard. But other than that, our stay was amazing. Note that you may have to park across the road, but we could easily see our car from our room. There is no ramp down to the beach, only steps so be prepared if you bring a wagon down to the beach. They have outdoor showers to rinse off sand after getting back from the beach which we enjoyed. We loved our stay here and would stay here again.

The location was great, very close to several places No smart tv in the room but definitely not a dealbreaker

right on the beach kitchen in room Tiki bar - drinks and bar food - its good It is an older property, but the staff is great and we love the location. In summer months they usually have live music nightly - we enjoyed that.

Unfortunately the building is suffering from neglect. The room was not good,heard every toilet flush and had no lamp in the living room. Pool was nice and the staff was great. The rooms need serious attention, especially the beds.
