Rooms are barely cleaned

The staff was amazing for the most part from our service at check in to bartenders and servers however our AC was broken and we had to change rooms at 2am in the morning. New room has tvs not working and we were told twice they would fix them and did not. Amenities were amazing however we rented a cabana and after a few hours it sprinkled a bit and we’re told we had to leave. The storm cleared and pools were never even evacuated but we had to leave our cabana early and the restaurant and bar shut down so we couldn’t even enjoy the full day. I would understand thunderstorms but there was not so it was inconvenient. The place is hard to navigate and elevators were broken making it harder to get around an already tough place to get around. I got this for my parents as a weekend staycation for Christmas and was very excited as we are locals and wanted to try but with all of the other options I don’t know that we would go back.

We had a wonderful time at The Grove Resort! The Surfari Water Park on-site was a huge hit for our family. The lazy river was incredibly nice and relaxing, making it the perfect spot to unwind. It was also incredibly family-friendly; my granddaughter absolutely enjoyed the kiddie pool/splash zone, which kept her safely entertained for hours. Having these great water amenities right at the property made our vacation seamless. We will definitely be back!

Why i gave an average rating - the rooms while spacious, need an overhaul and maintenance, replace old furniture, bathrooms, lighting, etc. Cooking and electrical appliances as well needs to be replaced i.e. nonstick utensils, LED smart TVs, etc. The restaurants especially Valencia needs a menu overhaul to include more options. Otherwise, decent budget and family friendly place to stay.

I love it

Good cheap stay for young families, property definitely needs some upkeep though our elevator was broken 2/3 of the time which made being on the 6th floor with two kids in a stroller rather challenging. Also pavers near pool were sunken in and wobbled, hopefully it gets the maintenance needed it’s a nice property with fun amenities rooms are clean and sooo spacious, close enough to Disney like 20 min drive.

The room was spacious and modern but the hallways and elevator could’ve been cleaner and more modern.

Our only issue was the layout of the restaurants and pool area. Getting around the property can feel a bit like navigating a maze, and it took some time to figure out how to get from one place to another. Once you arrive, though, everything is great! Overall, we had a wonderful and very comfortable stay.

-Think staying in maze of hallways and the app advertised doesn’t work - paper maps tho if you are into being a pirate your whole stay. -Slides are shallow , be careful if you are tall , kid scraped both arms on the bottom and was bleeding no help offer had to ask a staff member for first aid -Advertised everywhere that you can charge to your room or to your chair at the pools. They don’t tell you the charge to room only works up to your deposit so after a day of being able to carefree purchase you would be denied a room charge with no other way to pay… and then when you come back later , order on the kiosk and pay that the staff would profile you based on the last experience and ignore your ticket -Arcade had a power outage and wouldn’t refund cards said couldn’t call front desk who said they could at checkout. -bright spots the checkout staff comped our parking (which is honestly a joke for how much we paid and the experience advertised vrs reced -the activity center
