Hilton Garden Inn Orlando Downtown

Exceptional

The staff is very polite and professional and engaging which is saying alot considering the standard for our times. our rooms were clean and noise was not an issue. Location is good and close to downtown arenas, restaurants and business district area. We would stay here again. Although parking is offered by hotel for a price there is free overnight street parking from 6pm to 8am.

The hotel is convenient to downtown.

Good location. Comfortable. Access to local transportation is good. Nothing in particular stood out.

First time staying at this particular Hotel in downtown orlando, i honestly liked it. traveled by myself for a small little event - if you're a coffee lover there's a starbucks literally 5 steps out the main entrance of the hotel. There's also some restauraunts around the lake nearby to walk around. Super friendly staff, i didn't have the chance to eat their breakfast but for dinner stayed at the bar ordered some wings and french fries which was really good. Overall its quiet hotel, enjoyed it.

Location Rooms were dirty and found two live roaches in the room. Manager could careless and didn't apologies at all when told about the issues.

Charging $35 for parking is pretty bad and a rip off

Convenient location to downtown. Great restaurants, ice cream, pizza, and bars or clubs within walking distance. The hotels kitchen food is actually really good, the wings and brisket tacos were great. We always enjoy staying here.

- I had to park in a Public Parking lot that cost me $30.00, I didn't like that. - Thought there might have been a 'safe' in the room, but that was minor; didn't really need one. - I would have appreciated a complimentary breakfast of some sort, but there was none.

1. I had to pay $43 for 1 night parking and this was not stated or included in my deal with Expedia. 2. I could clearly hear traffic (louder cars and motorcycles) during the night. 3. I could not adjust the AC temp. I called the from desk and they said they will send maintenance, no one came. Be sure you know if there are parking feebefore you book.

Breakfast was an extra charge and I didn't think that was the way a Hilton should be I didn't like being forced to used valet parking and incur another charge on top of the hotel charge. There were no restaurants nearby and the items in the hotel store are slim

The only downfall is the mandatory valet parking.

Second: I requested an extra blanket after checking in at 3pm, 5 hours later, around 8pm I still had not recieved the blanket. I called and requested it again and about an hour later I recieved the blanket Third: On my second night of my stay, I requested extra towels it took two requests and over an hour to recieve the towels. There was no conference or event occurring at the hotel during my stay that I was aware of, and the explanation I recieved for the long wait times for simple requests was there is only one (1) housekeeper in duty at night and they had 10 requests. Which still does not explain the 5 hours to recieve a single blanket.
