Golden Gables Inn Dazzler Select by Wyndham

I’ve been staying here for years and never disappointed.

I have been going to Golden Gables for about 20 years. Everything was new then and now beds and things need to be replaced. Since I was there last year, it has changed to Golden Gables Inn Dazzler Select by Wyndham. They need to do some updating, but is still comfortable, clean and a good location.

Nice playground, outdoor pool, basic but good breakfast (yogurt and banana bread sometimes still partly frozen but not an issue), nice room on ground level accessed from the outside (they also have a second floor), and ice machine and washer/dryer available.

Will stay there again.

Love the place, everything is so green and beautiful.

Property was nice . In a good location . Room was sound proof. You didn't hear traffic or other guests at the hotel

We had a wonderful stay! Our suite was nice and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and picnic area. The staff were helpful.

Spend a little extra to stay somewhere else.

We have stayed there over the years and it was wonderful, but there is new ownership now and they turned it into a Third World crap hole, hot tubs been broken for three years, which tells you they don’t care Nothing about their guests. places was dirty, wife had to clean. poo off the bathroom wall. will never stay there again, absolutely horrible experience their complementary breakfast is a joke. These people will not put a dime back into the property to bring it up to par.

Very friendly staff and exceptionally clean rooms and grounds… well maintained

Wonderfully maintained property with clean and spacious rooms. We made great use of the outdoor fire pit in the evenings! Also, it is centrally located which makes it a breeze to get just about anywhere. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone heading to the area. Thank you for a fantastic long weekend!

We have stayed here in past years we had an emergency of our dog passing away and they still charged us for the days we couldn’t stay. The room wasn’t clean like when the old owners used to own it. We have been going for years and probably won’t be back!It’s too bad because it was a great place!

The room was very nice and well maintained. Great location too. Perfect for a weekend trip. My only issue was the tv remote. It was obviously a replacement and didn’t come with the tv so it didn’t have the ability to use the onscreen tv guide. We had to flip through the channels one by one. It sounds trivial but when you are trying to find something appropriate for kids to watch, flipping through a few several hundred channels became annoying. Plus the tv would announce the channel every time it was changed. Update the tv remote please!

I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating the entire duration of our stay, whether we needed a cot for one of our kids, something to clean up in the bathroom, or some extra towels after a trip down to the pool. Speaking of which, the pool was fantastic. A perfect temperature and easy to access, never too crowded, and lots of fun for the whole family. The beds were actually WAY more comfortable than at some luxury hotels I've stayed at, and the rooms were absurdly spacious. We had more than enough room for all of our luggage, plus the twin-sized cot for our kiddo, all without ever feeling like we were tripping over our own feet. Parking is right outside your room door (or downstairs from it), and as a disabled person, that was heavenly for me. The only minor criticism I have was that there was a hole in the wall from where the door had slammed open into it several times, but that was something easily fixed and didn't impact our stay at all. Otherwise, this place was perfection. Definitely recommend it if you're staying in the Conway area!
