Hampton Inn Charleston-North

nice and clean, safe and comfortable environment

My husband reserved two rooms for our family for 3 nights (all adults). It was the first time ever for any of us to stay at a Hampton Inn. The hotel was very clean, had very nice decor, and all staff we encountered were pleasant, professional and very helpful. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. It was quiet in the hotel, and the breakfast was splendid. The young man who was responsible for the breakfast area was exceptionally nice and kind too.

Just unusual for a guest to pay for parking outside. It may be understandable if in a garage

The other downside is the location next to the interstate. It was so loud. Bring ear plugs.

The place was clean. The breakfast and pool were great. It sucked to have to pay an additional $15 for parking in the large lot. It’s not like we were downtown or were sitting in a secure parking ramp. There was no need for the extra charge.

Had to pay $14.00 dollars per night for the privilege of parking my car!! I WILL NOT EVER BE STAYING AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! This is the only time, in my travels I had to pay for parking. And if this the quality that Hampton Inn is allowing I would not stay at any other of there hotels again.

My stay was good. My bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom clean. Could use an exhaust fan in the bathroom to help with steam but overall my stay was good. There was door slamming around 6:30 am that woke me from my sleep. Hate that I had to pay for overnight parking on property that I paid to stay at.

The place was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly.

Very clean and easy check in / out. You HAVE to PAY for parking. I didn’t see this before I booked it. It was like $50 for three days.

The staff was very courteous and the room was very clean. We enjoyed our stay with the exception of having to pay for parking, which blew me away.

Meghan was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived after a very frustrating travel day. Eric in the kitchen in the morning was very friendly and accommodating during breakfast. Thank you. Our stay in Charleston was unplanned but your hotel made the disruption much better.
