The staff were wonderful! The elevator situation was terrible, especially the morning of check out

Hotel was still under construction and had a weird smell. It also was looking old with paint slapped on spots to hide cracks. I prayed there were no bed bugs!
-
The toilet constantly ran, heard dripping noises all night
-
were clean.

Hotel Review Absolutely unacceptable experience — I would not recommend this hotel. The room was dirty, and the linens were not clean or properly maintained. It smelled musty and mouldy. The overall condition of the property was extremely disappointing. What concerned me most, however, was feeling unsafe as a solo traveler. The pool was separate from the hotel and people from the street walked in and were very intimidating. The staff were rude and belligerent when I raised my concerns, rather than being helpful or professional. I ultimately checked out because people were banging on my hotel room door, and I no longer felt secure staying there. A hotel should provide guests with a clean room, basic hygiene, professional service, and—most importantly—a reasonable sense of safety. This property failed on all of those fronts. I would strongly advise solo travelers, particularly women traveling alone, to think carefully before staying here.

The front desk was awesome! The room was okay, clean but old, maintenence had to come put the bathroom door back on, its a sliding door that came off..they also had to come in to check the bathroom wall which the tile was pushed in. We couldn't really use the tub since the water only came from the shower head. We were there 4 nights and I had to steal toilet paper off the housekeeping cart because they never came in our room, luckily we had extra towels to start with. There was a door attached to the next room with locks on both sides, but a housekeeper was in there on her phone and I literally heard her whole conversation through the walls/doors..We thought there was free continental breakfast but turns out you have to pay..its a bit pricey too but the girl working was great and could seriously make some food, the omelets were spectacular! It's an old building and it definitely shows, but the girls at the desk are great and the omelets made it a good trip.

The elevators did not work, and everyone had to use the staff elevators.

Stay was okay. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful. They are in the process of doing renovations. Only one elevator worked. The pool closes at 7 pm. Restaurant closed at 9. Parking was a little tight.
-
I never had to pay for parking before. The comforter on the bed was filthy. The bathtub had hair in it. Paying to park, clean bedding,, more than one elevator in operation
-
Clean and personable staff Elevator. Not working had to wait on service elevator on arrival day. Remaining of time 1 elevator working.
-
Staff were friendly All 4 elevators were broken leaving every employee and guest to use the service elevator. No AC in the service elevator area. 20 minutes wait to get on.
-
Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Elevator inoperable thru most of my stay resulting in having to use stairs and freight elevator! Also, extreme rain resulted in my car flooded the interior!

Great Customer Service after problems presented was very accommodating. -Restaurant: 2 hours for a cheese quesadilla. Meal was comped. Restaurant not busy. Bar busy. -Shower ADA bar broke off while using -Toilet clogged -Bathroom walls falling apart -Bathroom rolling door was off track when arrived-had to put it back on. -Smoke detector started beeping in middle of night -Rain came in 11th floor hotel room windows during severe rain -Called about our dogs barking at this pet friendly hotel after leaving dogs in crate for 30 mins

Very good
-
Clean, close to the Norfolk scope and restaurants.
-
There’s absolutely no cold water from the shower, refrigerator in the room didn’t work at all, and the bathroom sink was not draining at all. I would like to get at least a partial refund. This was the worst hotel experience ever.

It was clean and pet friendly!!! There are plenty of kids roaming the property. I’m not sure if they’re actually hotel guests, but every time we’ve stayed here, there have been a LOT of them. Now, here’s where the real fun begins… We checked out and realized about an hour after leaving that we had accidentally left two very important items behind. We immediately called the hotel—SAME DAY—and were told that management and housekeeping would contact us. What followed was almost a month of charades. We were sent in circles, repeatedly told that our belongings were in Lost & Found and were supposed to be secured until the rightful owner claimed them. We called. We followed up. We waited. We followed up again. Then, after nearly a month, the manager sends us a passive-aggressive message regarding the very items we had been trying to retrieve the same day we discovered they were missing. At this point, I have no other conclusion to draw: someone stole our belongings. And considering these items were reportedly in Lost & Found and secured by hotel staff, that means someone on the property had access to them. I have stayed here multiple times, but after this experience, I will NEVER stay here again. You can lose a lot of things at a hotel—but you shouldn’t lose your belongings because someone working there decided they were theirs. Absolutely unacceptable. Thieves.
