Perfect for our visit to NYU. Will stay again

Great location, clean, comfortable and helpful friendly staff!

That said, hot water on higher floors takes a bit of time to load, had to have one cold shower in 6 days but not the end of the world. Would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

Terrible pillows, hard bed. Restaurant being remodeled. The least they could do is get new pillows instead of continuing to use bad ones from the 90’s. Glad to only stay one night

The hotel is a favorite of ours in the Village. Despite the construction, which took away some of its charm, it was another great visit. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious, clean and perfectly acceptable. The staff of the place, especially the doorman on 8/14. Air conditioning, elevator and ice machines were all in good working order. I didn’t drive so parking was n/a. LOCATION was the best part of the place. This is a perfect place to stay for village history as it’s steps to Washington Square Park. Would def stay again! My pics are only the neighborhood.

I love this little boutique hotel! Perfect for NYU visit or just a great location for West Village area. Lots of character, great retro furnishings, friendly staff. I really enjoyed the 2 nights I stayed there. I do wish my room had a mini-fridge, though.

4 night stay in August. First and most important FABULOUS location. Felt safe and was 10 mins walk to Soho/West Village. Major bonus was the freebie breakfast every morning. Tea, coffee, juice & lovely mini pastries - a great start to the day and very welcome as we were shocked at the NYC prices for everything 😳. Room was comfortable and plenty of amenities. Only two things I would change - a better view from our window (or A view would have been nice) and a bar in the hotel (which is closed at the moment for renovation). Would defo stay here again for location and breakfast.

We paid a premium based on the Expedia recommendation. There are other hotels in the area that are better and cheaper.

Very nice hotel beside beautiful Washington Square. Close to some very nice restaurants. Renovations still in progress though, so we were disappointed that the bar was not open.

Small hotel room in an old NYC building. Room was clean, but really needs to be updated.

A great hotel, and a great location. The staff was super friendly. The hotel was very clean. They had coffee and pastries every morning for us. The water pressure in the shower and bathroom were amazing! The bed was comfortable and clean.

We had a wonderful stay! The person who checked us in at the front desk was absolutely amazing—so pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to have our room upgraded to an Executive Suite, which was very spacious and exceptionally clean. The location was also great and very convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

The lack of a mini-fridge was the downside for me. I carry medications that needs refrigeration and was a hassle

We knew the room wouldn't be ready when we got to the hotel at 11 AM, but the staff held our bags and said they would call us as soon as the room was ready. They did call us prior to the scheduled check-in time but we were already out and about. Our window looked out to a wall 6" away, but we were only in the room to sleep so it wasn't a big deal. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise! Coffee, tea, cappuccino, and a variety of fresh baked goods.
