Reviews
-
Great property in a prime location for the Williamsburg area in Brooklyn! Close to everything, including the subway!
-
Doma Lama was an amazing person who was always ready to help.
-
The only feedback I have is they were closing the pool early that day, and it was one of the reasons we chose to stay there. Other than that - no notes!

Great room. Amazing balcony views. Terrific location. Friendly and helpful staff.
-
5 star experience all across the board. Amenities are top notch. SuitSupply and Golf being nearby are also nice added touches.

Amazing stay great views and staff. I just felt a little judged at the pool since I wanted to chill and not have full service. Other than that, highly recommend!!

I had a great stay! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the view from the room was beautiful. I especially enjoyed the pool, and the Westlight rooftop bar was amazing. The views from the rooftop were incredible and definitely one of the highlights of my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed the property and would definitely stay here again!

Was fantastic

For the price of this place, it's ridiculous how every single "amenity" is an additional fee. The pool area seems kind of past its prime. I hate all the Sephora branding, it seems so tacky. The "resort fee" seems meaningless, what does this go to? I would not recommend booking this place, I think for the price there are other places in the same area that seem better.

It was difficult to sleep in the high-floor suites on weekends due to the music coming from Westlight. I requested a repair for the air conditioner, and it took three days to get fixed. I believe the standard procedure at checkout is to review the itemized charges together before emailing the final invoice; however, they simply emailed it to me, and upon checking the email myself, I discovered incorrect room service charges. While the hotel is in a great location, there were quite a few worn-out or torn areas—such as the elevators and hallway carpets—considering the rates they charge. Turndown service was inconsistent; sometimes it was provided, and other times it wasn't. Overall, the hotel had a golden appearance, but up close, it gave the impression of being merely gold-plated.

Bad customer service they don’t answer the phone I order for my food tray to be picked up no one grab it for 2 days , pool staff was rude , I had a hard time getting my room cleaned, however the manager was very friendly n she helped me and was the only person who actually seem to care Juliana was the best .

10/10 view, the bartenders at their westlight rooftop were so nice and made great mocktails. Will definitely stay again

I always enjoy staying at The William Vale. The staff is warm, friendly, and professional, the rooms are spacious by New York standards, and the hotel is clean and comfortable. The views are beautiful, and the rooftop is definitely a favorite. A great place to stay in Brooklyn!

Very good

Worst customer experience we've ever experienced. Beyond rude staff, both at the reception and at the rooftop bar. The reception staff was outright obnoxious to my husband for merely requesting an additional key w/o having ID at hand. Not only were we not offered an apology until the morning after but the hotel manager was equally as rude after the fact. It's a "5 star" hotel but neither of the staff members have a hospitality bone in their bodies with the exception of the security personnel, all nice, helpful and kind. Wouldn't stay here again if offered a free night.

The property was amazing. The valet staff was so nice. Set the tone for the entire trip. The grounds were well maintained. Then we walked into a wonderfully pleasant smell in the vestibule. Pierre our front desk concierge was extremely kind and accommodating. Floors and carpet smelled delicious. Room did not disappoint. I would totally recommend this property to anyone visiting the Brooklyn area. Thanks and hope to stay again soon.
