The Lombardy Hotel

My second stay at the Lombardy. Midtown isn’t my favorite location but you can’t beat the large rooms with kitchenettes. Bathrobes, free bottled water and lavazza coffee are nice perks.

Our stay was wonderful. Clean and beautiful room. Located conveniently in mid-town, subway stop nearby and the theater district.

This is our “go to” hotel in NYC since it’s quiet with helpful staff and a great location!

No continental breakfast though.

Overall the hotel was great. Really good location to restaurants, Central Park and the Subway. The room was huge considering we are in New York! Very clean and welcoming, although some bits of the room were starting to look tired, paintwork on doors, draws broken. However, this was no major problem. Beds were comfortable and towels soft and clean. The room was also quiet considering we were in a busy city. Didn't really interact with staff as we were out all day but reception staff were friendly and welcoming. It's a shame that the outside of the building was covered in scaffolding as this made it a little hard to find the hotel on arrival. However, I would not think twice about staying again and would 100% recommend.

Cleaning quality varied depending on who was on duty, but for a longer stay I would still highly recommend this hotel!

I’ve stayed at a number of hotels in NYC, I travel to NYC 2-3 per year. What a gem the Lombardy was! The location is extremely convenient and central, while being a quiet neighborhood.

Suite was spacious and nicely appointed.

The Lombardy is a unique hotel with lots of character. The rooms are large, especially for NYC. Everything was clean and the staff were very helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Convenient for families. Bathroom are small and older building. Front desk staff could be more helpful. Cleaning staff very good.

One of the larger hotel rooms I've ever had in NYC- and undeniably at the best value. Very clean room, king bed, big (and clean bathroom). Amenities I didn't expect & very much appreciated-- walk in closet with room to store away my bags included bathrobes & slippers and a kitchenette counter with a Lavazza espresso machine (and coffee), electric tea kettle, a few dishes in the cabinet and a good sized mini fridge!! Outstanding room & value in a very accessible midtown location. My room was on the 3rd floor & I didn't even have street noise! I've already recommended to friends-- and I will stay here again, for certain.
